I DON'T CARE about "Kawhi me a river", he's just a player, sure, he may have taken advantage of the Clippers. This DISASTER is about the Clippers and STEVE BALLMER and his hypergazillions "act with impunity" attitude. Please focus on Ballmer. No one cares if Kawhi leaves, or go, or whatever.

The Clippers have the worst future of any team in the NBA, they are in a stacked western Conference, the oldest team in the NBA and dont control a single forst round pick until 2030, and if found guilty of circumventing the salary cap could lose every more FRP's. Would not be suprised if the Clippers didnt have a FRP until 2034. Only other teams with as bleak of a future are the Suns and the Bucks, however both of those teams are younger, and their superstarplayers are young enough to net a significant return if both those teams decide to pivote.

Turns out the superstar y'all thought you had in Kawhi was traded away in SGA who turned out to be loyal, low maintenance, durable, arguably better — certainly younger. The warning bells were all there w/Kawhi and the gamble backfired. Time to pivot, rebuild organically through the draft, and stop with the recycled superstars and retreads. Look at what Atlanta did — they traded away all their draft capital in the Murray deal, then pivoted, flipped DJ to New Orleans, bilked them out of multiple picks in various trades and now have a shot at an AJ Dybantsa, Cam Boozer or Darren Peterson. But Ballmer thinks he can buy everything and even let PG walk for nothing, a really shortsighted move. Time to course correct.
