  1. Do you think Cam Thomas will be traded this season? What are your thoughts on how the team approached his contract negotiations?

  2. Dude made his whole vocal point about Cam Thomas 😂😂😂get it together stop the hate you can’t push this bs narrative he will get paid in only thing you guys will do is just keep on taking

  3. I realise Erik and Mike Scotto speak with sources within the Brooklyn Nets organisation but I view the situation quite the opposite as them. I believe Cam is gonna be extended next summer on a rich, multi-year contract next summer. Time will tell who is correct.

But if Cam Thomas has another strong year and like every previous season of his career he increases his assists and scoring average then CT will have the Nets offering him a large new contract.

Last season Cam scored 24ppg while dealing with hamstring issues. Personally I believe his health is one of the biggest issues in offering CT a long-term contract. If you're Nets management why would you not want Cam to prove he can play a whole season uninterrupted by hamstring issue before offering him a large, long term contract?

The Nets will have only $100 million in committed salary next summer. Are they really gonna let a top tier scorer in the league walk as an unrestricted free agent? Who are the Nets gonna pay next summer? There are very few truly available free agents in summer 2026.

The Nets also have Cam's bird rights which allow them to go over the cap to sign CT. They could sign Mitchell Robinson from the Knicks and offer KD a huge contract and then sign Cam and that would transform the outlook for the Nets especially if you add a top 3 selection in the 2026 draft.

  4. Eric Slater is pure garbage. Not a Nets fan. He wants the Nets to tank, not realizing this coach and players will not tank.
Locked on Nets needs Doug and Adam back. This loser is pure garbage.

  5. I’m real disappointed the Nets couldn’t figure out how to make the most of CT. May be it’s due to the phase of rebuilding we’re in, but the Nets will stay mediocre in this league if they can’t reconcile creativity with system. When it’s all about system purity, it makes players of CT’s ilk look like misfits rather than resources and the difference makers they often are.

I feel the problem is an imagination issue rather than evaluation one.
