BEN IS MY GOAT. jazz notes is dope!
Appreciate you, this🌟🌟🌟🙌
I have said it since the draft Cody is a 4 yr project due to his body. Finally somebody gave Walker his flowers on Locke’s podcast.
Here's a weird thought. We literally have a veteran team that could compete a LITTLE. I know we are all in on youth, or at least see which youth can level up. And I think that's our intent and focus. But an interesting veteran line up would be Nurk, Love, Mark, Niang, Kyle Anderson (point forward) I'm sure that's not the plan, but if we wanted to close out some games, we have experience to do so.
Now lets throw that silly thought aside and look at the real vet value. We have vets to help out Walker as more of an offensive threat, Love to show Flip how to be an all-star, Kyle Andersen on how to help players be smarter as players with size to be more well rounded including play making, Niang to help glue it all together as a environment changer, and help guys be ready to shoot the heck out of the ball and space the floor. These are good potential vets to help our youth players grow.
My second favorite saying is "veteran leadership" . . . . My first is "yes, I know — but he's got such a great basketball IQ" . . .
Here are my thoughts, I believe that the jazz, if they really play to win, they could surprise many, let's get back to the Jazz just after we got rid of Gobert and Mitchell, the Jazz started winning a lot of games, then the Jazz made more moves and the team stop winning, The team that the Jazz has now is BETTER than that team, some great veterans, some great prospects, I believe the predictions about the Jazz being one of the possible 5 teams that could be an "Overachiever" team, then forget about been in the lottery this coming season. Bailey will mature faster because he is going to be playing as regular, and with Veterans like Kevin Love, George Niang and Lauri Markkanen around, I believe that George will have his breakout season, and with Kyle, Kessler, Sensabaugh who will become one of the best shooters in the league and ok defense, Clayton (I feel that he will surprise the league), and even Collier if he can improve his shot, plus the two X factors living to their potential, Hendricks and Cody Williams, this could be a surprise season….Just food for for thought.
Great show!
