The Golden State Warriors Situation Is Unlike Anything We’ve Ever Seen

The Golden State Warriors are in the middle of the strangest off-season in NBA history. Jonathan Kuminga’s unresolved contract situation has created a ripple effect that’s holding up the official signings of Al Horford, D’Anthony Melton, Seth Curry, and Gary Payton II, moves that would completely reshape the Warriors’ roster. In this video, we break down why this situation is so unprecedented, how GM Mike Dunleavy has kept multiple high-profile free agents waiting, and what it says about Golden State’s future. We’ll also examine how Horford, Melton, Curry, and Payton could transform the Warriors once the ink finally dries, and why this delicate balancing act might turn out to be either a masterstroke or a misstep. If you’ve been wondering why the Warriors’ offseason feels so different from every other team’s, this video will tell you everything you need to know.

  1. We need to trade Kuminga! He does not fit into the Warriors offense. He is a below average rebounder, passer, and screen setter. And he has really poor shot selection, regularly misses open shooters to do iso-plays.

  2. DFlo first of all you don't know what you're talking about, nobody signed because only the Brooklyn nets had cap space look who has cap space before you can say who ain't signing

  3. Hopefully they figure out the kuminga situation this weekend so it can be done and finish overall as a whole to end this kuminga drama.🏀

  4. Kuminga seems like a nice young man who believes in himself. His situation is a hard one. Blame is on both sides. It will require someone to swallow their pride. Kuminga over values his value while GS are still trying to max out the Curry era. I think it centres on Kerr agreeing to find a way to gain Kuminga's trust while Kuminga has to lower his expectations.
