All I'm gonna say is I just want to watch VJ & Maxey…Let PG & Joel get as healthy as possible and when there ready let's just see what happens…I only watched 5 games last yr will see what happens maybe they will be OK & I'll watch them…Atleast we got the Phillies & Eagles to cheer for & watch because they will show up…

Respectfully, you all either forget, don’t recognize, or greatly misunderstand the fact that Joel Embiid didn’t grow up in America or the “hood”. He doesn’t have the same interests, mind-state or motivations. He doesn’t have the same social makeup or experiences as many other players. Africa (all countries) is not an easy place to grow up and culturally these countries are vastly different. I don’t care how many other players you say may have come from different countries as well. It’s true for all of them. None of them respond to the media or even their teammates the same as American born players. There are exceptions to every rule, but for the most part these dudes are different. Joel Embiid is a culturally and socially different guy from everybody else on the Sixers and it’s so obvious. Hence his attitude and relationship with the media, his teammates, and Indian and everyone else. And for God sakes, I don’t know if you’ve ever lost a sibling, but my God why does nobody pay attention to the human things that these dudes go through as opposed to just worry about how they can entertain you on a basketball court. That’s a one-sided perspective, and this man is screaming out that he has been through something in his personal life, stupid stuff and his professional life, and it absolutely has affected him. You all dump your daily failures and stimuli at our sports team’s feet like it’s their job to be perfect or be the type of player you want simply because you pay for a ticket to go see them and that is a terrible idea. It removes the human element. It’s not an excuse. It’s an explanation. Don’t get your exes mixed up.
