Mark Cuban has spent significant time defending Steve Ballmer since the Clippers scandal broke. People are asking why the former Mavericks majority owner is spending so much time on this. There are two theories that are just as shady as the scandal itself.

  1. Why does a billionaire push his way to the microphone to kiss up to a richer billionaire? Because he needs money. Same reason he sold the Mavs – he’s hemorrhaging somewhere, it just isn’t obvious yet.

  2. Cuban is also the guy that turned into a politician and wanted you to vote for Kamala and Elmer Fudd ass

  3. NBA has their own swamp to drain. Adam silver knows this is going on
why else would he say he has never heard of the company then walk it back in an interview
.

  4. Mark Cuban wants to move to a higher rank In the same secret cult that Ballmer is in . Ballmer being a higher tier due to his money has a big say so in this cult . Loyalty to his superior his a generous act

  5. This is one of the biggest reaches that I've seen in a minute. So you have no actual proof that Mark gave Dirk under the table money. You then take his Donald Sterling comments out of context, he was clearly saying people should be allowed to say stupid things but if we punish them for speech then everyone would have to walk on egg shells. I'm black but I think forcing Sterling out of the league by vote wasn't necessary. Let the fans hit him where it hurts to the point where he feels like he must leave and then a buyer can lowball him to hurt him even more. As for the Steve Ballmer idea, Mark Cuban's bridge loan is a plausible excuse but we all know it's bs, it was clearly under the table money and could he have Ballmers back because he wants to strengthen that alliance? Perhaps. Could it be he's covering his back in case something comes out about him in the future? Very possible. At the end of the day, people are acting like something insane was done. There shouldn't be a cap on how much you can pay a player to begin with. In football/soccer, there's no limit. If owners want to pay more, let them. If certain owners can't keep up, they should sell.

  6. Damn near every superstar takes cuts at some point, major cuts, we're talking tens of millions on the table, so basically investigate the entire league OR maybe just remove the cap and let owners pay players as much as they want. If an owner can't afford to pay to play, they should sell. Afterall, the NBA is the big boys league, there's always the WNBA, G-League or some overseas league.

  7. That’s exactly what Im saying!!mark Cuban is right. Everything was lined up because they wanted this to catch fire and then aspirations could end up with more money. That’s why the employees r leaking paperwork and doing all this he said she said.

  8. 4:13 it’s unfortunate when you have to stop and say you’re a Dirk fan when simply doing your sports journalism job. just like that knicks fan saying Pablo shouldn’t investigate Jalen Brunson
like do sports mean that much to some people? That you’re willing to look past corruption? same thing with politics. too many people treat it as their God.
i understand you’re wanting to stymie the people that will say you’re a hater of Dirk, but you’re just doing your job bro.

  9. you can say the same shit with certain locations for visibility and sponsorships. the league will always favor large markets no matter what you do with the cap.

  10. Newsflash: All billionaires are lying, cheating scum. It’s usually how they became rich in the first place. To them, rules and laws are nothing more than annoying hurdles to be circumvented any way they can.

  11. Mark Cuban's reaction tells me he's probably the one who taught Steve Balmer how to pay players under-the-table. Cuban must feel super-guilty about it. Cuban isn't working for favors, he's covering his a$$.

  12. They’re all J O O S. Mark Cuban, Steve Ballmer and Adam Silver are all J O O S and are looking out for each other. J 3 W World Order
