  1. Just wait til the spurs put wemby at pg and get him 4 7fters to play with him. Wemby, bol, lauri, porzingod, tacko will take over next year lol

  2. Steven Adams is so effective today because of his amazing rebounding and his brick ass wall screens. He's so good at his job that a lot of the time he is grabbing boards for second and sometimes even third chance opportunities for shots and when he's not grabbing them he's doing something like blocking his opponents so that his teammates can grab them

  3. Yep. Stone indicated last year that he didn't want to build another Golden State clone and try to win with the 3 ball. Owning the paint, dominating the glass, gobbling up possessions is another way. This is opposite of the 2020 pocket rockets when they had Tucker at the 5. Fitting that they brought back Clint Capela as well.

  4. I believe Ime and the rockets realize that the double big they have isn’t just too big unskilled centers playing together to just rebound. Alpi has the passing iq as a PG and Adam’s is a great passer also. Alpi is the key because he doesn’t have to play in the paint he can spread the floor because passing IQ. They can run the offense through him. Can’t wait for the season

  5. why not, they looked great last year going big, and KD in starting five sertanly can't hurt. Rockets next year might be an evolution of the bball game everyone always lamenting about. Maybe it is that simple…

  6. Adams has always been a good player, but with all the bigs going more mobile and slimmer it has only led to Adams becoming more of a threat ngl. He is far too strong but still somewhat mobile enough to keep up

  7. Jabari feels like a Jeff Green of sorts, ironically unc is on that team. Great stuff btw your vids man! love 'em. Keep em up. Also make a video about Dillon Brooks. Underrated player.

  8. Over half of all shots don’t go in the basket. Rebounding is probably the single most important stat correlated to winning.

  9. Fred getting hurt might end up being the best thing that happened to the Rockets. Forces Amen and Reed to step-up now. They're going to fun to watch.

  10. Heard someone describe it like this – Steven Adams doesn’t space the floor like a traditional stretch 5 since he can’t shoot the 3, but because he’s such a dominant offensive rebounder he functionally has the same effect since you can’t help off of him and let him get to the post, because that would virtually guarantee that he gets an offensive rebound and a put back. In order to even somewhat limit his offensive rebounding you have to just play man coverage on him almost constantly which is essentially producing the same result as if he was corner sitting with a 37% 3 ball.

  11. “This would be the tallest starting lineup in the history of the NBA…”

Yes, it would be, if that were the starting lineup. It won’t be, though.

  12. I'm not saying Amen won't be an improved shooter, but most players can't just turn it on within a season or two. Has anyone else noticed the best shooters also have high free throw shooting rates?

I'm a Rockets fan so I'm hopeful, but not holding my breath. Thompson has had identical 68.4% free throws in his first 2 seasons.

  13. Steven reuniting with KD is absolutely brilliant, they have chemistry and has been proven when they were both on the OKC thunder team back in the day.
