The Golden State Warriors UNC’S Won’t Be Stopped
The Golden State Warriors are entering the 2025-26 season with their most complete roster since their championship run in 2021-22 and this time, the ceiling might be even higher. With Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and Al Horford making history as the first team to start four players age 35 or older, plus an upgraded supporting cast headlined by Seth Curry, Buddy Hield, and D’Anthony Melton, the Warriors have balance, depth, and versatility on both ends of the floor.
In this breakdown, we dive into why this roster is built to dominate: from the newly assembled “Splash Brothers” duo of Steph and Seth Curry, to the defensive impact of Brandin Podziemski, to how Butler and Horford elevate Golden State far beyond the days of Otto Porter Jr. and Nemanja Bjelica. We’ll also address the concerns about size and explain why those questions might be overblown. The Warriors’ mix of shooting, defensive IQ, veteran leadership, and all-time spacing gives them a unique structural advantage heading into the season.

"and this time, the ceiling might be even higher". How does a ceiling get higher than a title? ROFL
In the mid 1700's the British army had warriors in their 60's, that can be our motive.
The NBA is peak when warriors are in the finals. They play the game the right way. Entertaining and with purpose.
Shout out to Big Al you will always be a Celtics and I’m going to miss you but I know you will be a champion on any team good luck this year big guy!💚☘️💙💛

Defense WINS Championships
LET'S GOOO💪🏾💙💛
I hope TJD and Gui dont get lost in everything
They could mentor the young guys like post, gui, moody, tjd, etc
Even during the years with Andrew Bogut and ZsaZsa Pachulia, I always noticed that Kerr used them reluctantly which can be asserted by who was on the floor during crunchtime and the creation of the Hamptons 5. More than once I remember Kerr referring to slow big men hampering his coveted movement offense. This roster, as Dlfow intimidates, might be the one that can best utilize the approach Kerr prefers. With the oldest starting lineup (in NBA history?) the younger pieces will be relied upon more than ever before, but they have enough experience (even Quinton post in his second year) that it is much less a gamble than a chance to shine. Actually, we really haven't seen something like this before….really hoping it works.
GOLDEN UNC WARRIORS
Old Reliable
that first game will hit like crack
They haven't even played a single game and "they can't be stopped"? lol And the vaunted experience and age of the team generally has been an issue for years now and not in a good way. They were aging and injury prone in 22 even when they won the chip against expectations including their own. A good argument can be made that Steph had the timeliest of injuries that season that allowed him to go into the post season pretty fresh as opposed to worn down. But the following 3 seasons? We saw the results. The best teams in the league have generally been getting younger and deeper not older and slower.
I'll be as interested as anyone to see them on the court together old Al is the perfect fit in theory but I'm not optimistic that the team as a whole can load manage all the Vets the entire way through the season.
Funniest thing of all after several seasons of the team failing to address the obvious flaws in any meaningful way they still have not really addressed the lack of shot creation outside Steph. They are going to really have to hope that Jimmy is super aggressive from game 1 all season long or maybe by some miracle Kerr finally gives JK some more leash to play through his mistakes but I won't hold my breath after this summer I expect he'll be gone by mid January.
They need 2 more good and smart players. Trade Kuminga asap to get them
UNC's… Undisputed National Champions. 😏
I think those four players particularly al horford can help mentor the young guys and show them the different ways to impact winning he definitely will be a huge and big locker room presence as well for the team and the warriors for a full 82 game season.🏀
I dont mean to sound like a hater i dont see this winning a championship
