  1. Food for thought.

Sengun was the 2nd most double teamed player in the NBA last season – at the age of 22. Add playing real defense day in and out to the equation. It makes sense why his finishing took a dive this season.

  2. 2nd most doubled player in the post…only behind Jokic…and over 70% of his shots were in close or heavily contested coverage because Fred's defender would just double Sengun at the point of the screen and Fred couldn't capitalize by attacking… because he was too small and slow.

  3. If that 3 pointer he showed in Europlay translates I expect him to move around a lot more than in previous years. I can see him playing more like a 4 than a 5. The two big lineup worked well for the Rockets last year. They win with their rebounding and if big everywhere works(which I have my doubts) just think about a lineup with Adams, Sengun, Jabari, Tari, and Amen(5-1). The big everywhere lineup when KD is out fits the rebounding first philosophy and I can't imagine ANY team being able to match up well against that group. By the way, check out Adams' stats, he is way under-rated. Best offensive rebounder in the league – borderline contender for best rebounder ever. I am a bit skeptical that going rebounding first over all other benchmarks is the way to go but I'd like to see them try it just the same.

  4. The LAST thing Sengun will do is "hang out" in the paint. The dude is a master passer and is almost like a second point guard in the post.

  5. His finishing was good his first three years. Last year was likely because of the improvements on defense.

Also, y'all need to get past the idea that Euro players can't play defense. He was legitimately very good on defense.

He should have been All-NBA last year. Kid is going to get MVP votes this season.

  6. His soft touch and finishing were his strengths until the body work affected him. Though he initially struggled to regain form, he is now showing signs of recovering his touch and confidence. so wait and see, he will shine and will have big scores… Again…… Kevin is blessing for him, he will learn so much from him, and they will suite each other perfectly, it will be absolute pleasure to watch them, it will be great…

  7. Sengun is NBA's second best big after Jokic, and there is zero discussion about this, what you guys talking about😅😅😅 Man dominated Euro championship… He is a beast.. and Wemby? So overrated… Sengun dropped 45 on him..Remember?

  8. Obviously you guys weren't paying much attention to sengun before the last season. His touch was perfect and he had high efficiency. Last season he has bulked up and became a pretty good defender. This extra energy he spends on the court effected his touch together with the increased strength. The Eurobasket showed that he gained back his touch already so it's fair to expect a jump.
