  1. Does Darko really believe this or is he just saying it because he's trying to keep his job and he thinks thats what people want to hear

  2. Doug Smith asking about a threesome means 1) he had no idea what he was walking into 2) he now knows what the new meaning of 'pause' is lol

  3. Toronto is a cheat code. When you have to go up against the likes of Golden States Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Boston Celtics, and New York Knicks, the next big thing is the Toronto Raptors.

  4. Wishing this team all the best.I want them to succeed however there's uncertainty and they have to prove from the start that this team can compete. I am convinced that Barrett will do well.

  5. Pending health and good coaching good trainings camp second unit half decent we can be a problem on the wide open east

  6. I can’t wait! Let’s go!!!
Raptors are about to dominate the nba and the east specifically. I believe we will win between 48-52 games this year and smoke the east. The west won’t be safe either. Our D will be top ten, and our offence with a healthy Ingram and IQ will be top 15

  7. Mitchell was a big reason why we were so good defensively. Sheed has to pick up the slack. How you suppose to be a defensive team without a shot blocker. Teams are going to force Toronto to shoot 3s. That’s going to be are biggest problems.

  8. Let be realistic they were not a good team last year… ingram is going to raise the bar that high five more wins at best

  9. I'm glad that they seem to get along because there is a long list of Raptors that have something to prove this season.
Ingram, IQ, Barnes, Barrett, Dick, Walter, Shead….. basically, every guy that may see rotation time, not named Jakob, has something to prove. Jak is the sturdy, steady pillar it is all built around. This could sink a team with poor chemistry. It could also make for a great team if they all play for each other.
Oh man, please let this roster stay healthy.

  10. this offseason felt sooo long. maybe cause all the injuries last year it feels like we haven’t had real raptors ball in a longgggg time.

  11. The Raptors success and failure depends largely on the bench. The bench is stacked and I am expecting a top five seed in the East.

  12. Ive been gaming 2K26 on legendary mode and let me tell ya something partna The Raptors are deadly not alot of teams taking me down im gonna be honest. If i go based on my gameplay statistics The Raptors are not getting stopped.

  13. The coach is the weakest link and hopefully he’ll find the good combinations…. Raptors team have a good players and very deep ….

  14. This bs line of sloppy barnes being a elite defender is crazy , he is fine on help and jumping lanes but the guy gets burned in iso time after time 🎉🎉🎉

  15. Funny that no one except delusional raps fans think he is one of the best two way players , no handles, poor iso defense, can't shoot and turns the ball over constantly….far from one of the best big guy 🎉🎉🎉

  16. They don’t have any D issue because they are only playing each other. F O did not do their work in offseason 1 bad injury to Jak or IQ and the team is adrift.

  17. The Raptors are going to be a problem for a lot of teams out there. They got a nice starting squad out there and we saw how the bench performed during summer league. Looking forward to seeing what Ingram does in the Raptors uniform. They all just got to avoid injuries.

  18. I think RJ is not a bad defender but he's about as average as you can be for a defender. I think it's the way he get's in his defender posture as he does the textbook straight squat. I think it's a great form to help you move laterally as well as get on a quick stride when switching to offense. Although the issue is modern NBA players are too fast going forward so unless you get them in a stop what happens is they blow by before he sets up for defense. He doesn't do that hunched over defending or a lean forward squat when defending all that well. I think he needs a gaurd assignment on guys that don't run to the rim as the team scouts the upcoming matches.

I liked that they were in a good mood, and excited for this coming season. It shows they have confidence in winning more than last season. It also shows they have good chemistry which is good for the tough parts of the season when things are more hectic and a losing streak is happening which happens to even the good teams. Having good chemistry helps weather over those storms. My takeaway is either Brandon has blown them away with what he adds to the team or they're putting a lot of hope and praise on BI's shoulders. I know BI is a decent player but I've never seen him as a high motor guy so I'm wondering how he'll fit the Raptors level of intensity of running up/ down the court? I mean Gradey was gassed out by December early January last season.

  19. The way the game is officiated today in the NBA many would agree it is tough to play defense. My main concern with this team is having players making shots on a consistent basis. Good teams and title winners in NBA history have always had players that shot the ball well. In the last couple seasons show me a team that won a title because of defense. At the NBA level it is so easy for players to create shooting opportunities and the good teams capitalize on their chances.
