    Ryan I love you and understand where you're coming from but ofcourse the best player next to Jokic is an allstar, Murray played at allnba level in the 23 playoffs and Jokic accomodated HIS scoring and shooting and they worked together

    What you're describing are leadership qualities that it's AWESOME that Murray is embodying now

    The team has a chance to be best in Jokic era…Jamal last year had his arguable best reg season ever. 35+ minutes, efficient and still only averaged 21 ppg. He should be efficient, maybe his most efficient but his averages will prob dip to 18-20 ppg. How is he going to be even better? Jamal has maxed out.

    I hate Watson at the 4, they need to give Zeke and Holmes all of those minutes until they can't.

    One of Julian or Watson may have to go if they want to win unfortunately.

    Murray is what he is at this point: a tough shot maker who doesn’t create easy offense, and is very injury prone.

    If the Nuggets wanted a consistent #2, they needed to trade for one years ago when Murray still had trade value.

    If Murray couldn’t even average more than 21 ppg as the first scoring option (Jokic best player obviously but Jamal always has the green light as the score first Pg). How is he going to be even better, with more mouths to feed?

    Unless Murray changes his game and is less selfish. Increasinf his assists to 8+ per game combined with efficient 50% FGs. How is Jamal going to be any better than he’s been?

    Reality 101: Jamal is starting his new $50m contract. Can you afford two $50m+ players under the new CBA? Maybe yes, IF you're winning titles. Otherwise probably not. If the Nuggets don't win a Championship this season, regardless of Jamal Murray's play, they're going to ask "how can we improve?" And the only big contract they can move to help them gain cap flexibility is Jamal. I think he knows it. His agent must have told him. Under the new CBA teams are going to ask HARD questions about what player contracts they can afford. And with OKC winning the title with massive depth and a ton of useful role players, every team is trying to add depth and flexibility. And that $50m contract limits your flexibility. I advocate NOTHING, I'm NOT saying they SHOULD get rid of Jamal. It's not MY opinion or yours that matters. Ben Tenzer and John Wallace have a couple of years to win a title or THEY will be gone, along with David Adelman. They have to be ruthless in evaluating this team and they will be.
