The year is 2017. It's draft night and the Lakers are preparing to pick at #26. The current roster is a mix of young and old. We have Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Jordan Clarkson, Kyle Kuzma, Julius Randle, and Brook Lopez. After the Kobe Bryant era there is some small hope that in the future this team could make some noise. Although this 2017 draft we did't expect to draft big talent, a flash forward in time would change all of that. The Lakers would eventually end up having both the #1 (Ayton) and #3 (Doncic) picks in that draft leading the team, with both players still in their early prime. Crazy how things work out. GO LAKERS!!!
