Wouldn't that be something. I am always cautious of LA Lakers meddling in these things. They need a replacement for Lebron who is teetering on retirement.
Listen, IF the Lakers are involved (and the trade happens) – the Lakers want to win now, and of coarse Giannis would be ideal but they can't make the money work w/o gutting the team. The Lakers NEED a big, have been on the prowl since last spring's whopping from the Wolves pounding the interior. SO, the trade would be (centerpieces): Jak to Lakers, Barnes, Hach, Knect and Laker picks to Mil, Giannis to Tor, fill in the rest. BUT it aint happening!

Giannis is a great player but I dont want him. You dont throw all your eggs in one basket and he has become a bit of a diva. He wants to be in on trades and pick coaching staff and next contract will be out to lunch. This will destroy the team if we trade for this guy. @ben rogers as shakespeare said " much to do about nothing" giannis is not coming to toronto. the raptors after a gutted team and losing all their first and 2nd rounders for next 8 years wouldnt be a contender with giannis as they wouldnt even have the assets to build a team around giannis to optimized him. currently the raptors are a bad fit for giannis cuz of spacing issues and 3 pt shooting or lack of it.
