Saying you aren't bringing up Luka and bringing him up twice in the first 2 minutes is wild
I think PJ is gonna be okay coming off the bench because 1. He did say in media day that guys aren't going to play much because they have so much depth. 2. Back in Charlotte, he was a starter, but then was moved to bench, basically being the 6th man, and he accepted that role. I'd imagine he's okay coming off the bench (still playing 20-28 min), especially for his hometown team.
PJ seems to have no ego and is a team player. He's going to do what's best for the team, in my opinion.
Expectations for Ztay: bring Luka up, say he growing his hair out but get uncomfy with the awkward stage and cut it down, and say “in his NOSTRIL” when Flagg gets his first poster.
Dennis Smith Jr. Will probably be replace by Dennis Smith Jr. Cooper will play a lot of point. And Lively grew 3 " he is 7 ft 3 " now .Cooper is starting Pj will come of the bench unless Coop starts at point then PJ will start with him
They are shooting for the January for Kyrie
Rockets are not going anywhere without a point. They're starting point guard tore his acl
AD only played 9 games as a Mav, most rankings seem to be comparing this team to that injured roster that limped into the play-in but it’s literally nothing like that team. The best thing from that terrible two months was Brandon Williams and I also have high expectations for the Mavs with or without Kyrie.
Also, Rockets are no longer a top 3 seed to me, if half a season of Kyrie drops the Mavs down to 6 or 7 than an entire season without a real PG should have a bigger effect on Houston.

As a Mavs fan I agree with what you said and appreciate the love you got for the fanbase. I think our organization that traded Luka did not deserve the #1 pick but the players and fans do and I was psyched. AD getting poked by Gaff at end of season is what did it, all the other eye pokes and Dwight Powell hitting him accidentally did the damage leading up to it. I don't expect too much from D Lo, he just has to help hold it down until Ky is back and while he readjusts. Coop does not have to be an allstar-level player for this team to be contenders nor do we expect it of him either. Its tought though cause minutes will be inconsistent outside of starting 5, I just hope Max Christie and B Will get their chance to shine.

PJ is gonna do whatever the team needs him to do. He just signed an extension, just bought a home in Dallas, and he wants to stay in Dallas.
As a Mavericks fan, I appreciate you for covering us like this! IMO Kyrie is looking insanely good in his recovery wouldn't be surprised if he came back end of year or early 2026. Combine that with AD who was damn near playing at top 5 level when healthy last season, and the best rookie in a while in Cooper, we can go far!
I agree pj is the biggest question mark I don’t think he starts but he will close out most games which is more important

Klay played 72 games last year
Technically Luka and kyrie did work well together Luka even said kyrie was Batman. if they went to the finals together it was just matchup wise no one was beating the Celtics that team only lost 3 games the entire playoffs. Last season was just an injury riddled season if they were healthy and if they made the right move and trade they win last Season

Last season was a wash for the mavs. The injuries were just too much. We have to stay healthy and we can beat okc. We did it all last season without Luka

Ill never change my Pic. But I'm finally ready to move on. Luka brought the Mavs back to relevance, and now Cooper and company will get us a ship. I took the rest of the season off last year, it's time to get back in it. Our team looking nice if we can stay healthy.
