If we stay relatively healthy, yes.
If healthy I genuinely wouldn’t be surprised at all if they finish with the top seed in the conference.
I think people forget how good the Hawks was last season during that stretch run during the cup when they were finally healthy. Now that health didn't last long because JJ got hurt right after that then they made the trades.
But during that run they whipped the Cavs back to back nights, the Celtics twice, the Bucks, Knicks and the Wolves. They were spanking teams off Defense and Athleticism alone..no shooting whatsoever.
People this team just added 4 40% 3pt shooters, Real Size and more defense.
The Hawks are a problem people!!
When you add real 3pt shooter to a guy that leads the league in assist and potential assist at 20 a game…you do the math😢
Hawks also signed N'Faly Dante and Charles Bassey for center depth..
I feel like "if they're healthy" is a caveat for every team, so I don't think it really needs to be said. But I'll also push back on the claim that ATL has no depth, are they the OKC Thunder? No. But having NAW, Kennard, OO/KP, along with a young up-and-coming Vit and Mo Gueye is a decent league average amount of bench depth. So not the weakness they make it out to be.
Hawks are going the win the Championship this year! They are my surprise team this year. They have CRAZY Size/Length along with Crazy depth!!!!! Plkus I'm taking into account that their aggressive GM fully understands that this is the year of the GETTABLE EAST! That's why whe Feb rolls around..Onsi will make a SIGNIFICANT trade..because they have the AMMO/ASSETS to make it happen!!!

If anyone can trade for the FEAK…it's the Hawks….#1 They have a killer picks package starting with that GOLDEN TICKET unprotected Pels/Bucks swap rights! #2 They have young talented players that all teams would want..#3 They have expiring contracts and trade exceptions!!!!!!!!!!! To be honest…Cavs haven't gotten past round 2….Knicks really lack depth…and I don't buy the Magic depth chart at all..plus Suggs being healthy!!!

Quinn Snyder knows…that he MUST keep both Trae and Porz…healthy and Fresh this year before the playoffs begin. For the first time..Quin will have CRAZY TRAE-less options because of the number of skilled playmakers he can put out there while Trae is resting!!! By adding N'Faly and Bassey…and don't forget about Mo Gueye…Hawks can more than hold up the center fort while Porz is resting!!!
Saying they don’t have a ton of depth while speaking highly of OO, KP, Zac, Jalen, Luke, Dyson, Trae.. and not mentioning NAW.. that’s 8 REAL players.
