I think it’s borderline impossible to find a player who started out as a below average/average playmaker, who ended up being an elite playmaker. It’s easier to find guys who progressed from an average scorer into an elite scorer.
Eh. I think this is a L take. Ant hits people all the time with his pass, people just don’t knock down the shots. He should’ve averaged 7.5 assists last year and I bet you wouldn’t be saying anything about his playmaking. His playmaking was actually better than his scoring these past playoffs so I don’t know why people just got this idea that scorers are mid playmakers
