I really only care to see Cedric Coward. Not that I’m a huge fan but how good he is important to this team after we traded 2 picks for him
Joe saying pre season games don't matter, while I think I kind of get where he's coming from, still makes me want to highlight a point.
These pre seson games matter more than they maybe ever have before.
With how ridiculously short NBA pre season is compared to Europe, and with how different Tuomas' system is and how many new things he's asking his players do, to me it feels slightly insane that they're already going to play games.
Now, he had them do their homework and prepare as well as they could but the actual time the team has been together is so small
that there needs to be a disclaimer for those who aren't as ciued in as Europeans who have seen him do all this before.
It's going to look very messy to begin with and probably for a while into the season.
That is to be expected with the magnitude of the changes and the speed and complexity of the system. Revolution is always messy.
The key is to listen to coach Tuomas and listen to the players and actually get on board with their vision. with the revolution, because it's happening either way, and kicking and screaming will only get you tired and cranky.

Cedric is a stud. He is gonna muscle people in pre season if nothing else. He used to be a front court player and is long and strong and knows where to be on the court. Would not be surprised if he pounds the boards and finishes fast breaks before he even cracks out the 3 ball.
