Not bad, this was a positive starting point tonight especially from the new guys in the first quarter. The three point shooting was great in that quarter. Team defense got off to a good start. When JA and the big guys get back they will be more of a solid team.
We definitely have depth again, I’d say this roster could make some noise but as Joe is saying, if Ja is out then there’s no way we’re winning anything
I am frankly, tired of the Ja Morant experience. Ja is 6 to 7 years in league. Memphis is not winning any championship.
Ja need an ankle support shoe. I see the same injury dreaded season as last year. Memphis should tank the season and get 2 lottery picks in 2026 nba draft, rebuild for the future. This draft is good from 1-7. Maybe the ping pong balls will hit Memphis way this year. But we need to rebuild and keep Ja and Jared, and build around them until the future picks are ready to take the reign.
