Fears needs to be wearing a Squadron uniform for most of the year. I thought he left some easy assists on the floor, his shot selection was dubious, at best, and his on-ball defense was horrible. Let's not make the same mistake with him that we made with JAX!! Not many 18-year-old's are ready to play at the highest level of basketball on the planet.
I'm starting to believe that 3M3 might be the # 1 option we need badly. Time will tell.
Hawk had some moments which is promising.
Overall, against some inferior talent, the defense sucked!!!

Why can't we have a winning season? We should have won more than 50 games 2 years ago. We didn't do that great in the overtime games, but this could be our year to make a statement.

I'm not trying to rain on anybody's parade, but I hope we all realize that after the first quarter, the Pelicans were outscored by Melbourne United….basically a minor league team by NBA standards. One preseason game – a season does not make, but the overblown hype being bandied about as a result of this game serves absolutely no useful purpose and does not bode well for the Pelicans as a TEAM in 2025-26!!!

I seriously doubt Fears or Queen will make an impact this season. Maybe Queen, but he's already injured. Fears may play only out of necessity due to injuries, but if that's the case, this team is sunk already

Was at the game and it was awesome! Training session yesterday was also great, lots of Pelicans fans at that one. Fears is a worry for this year.

Once Zion went out of the game, it was the same issue they've had for years, the team just took jumpers. Nobody posting up in the paint. At one point Karlo was posted up deep in the paint asking for the ball and the Pelicans player stopped at the 3-point line, looked at Karlo and then looked and passed the ball to someone on the perimeter. If Green doesn't develop and get his bigs to be offensive facilitators in the paint when Zion is on the bench, this team will have another bad year. Queen and Matkovic are going to be the key to this season.
Pels need to look at Javale McGee while in Australia

That team looking good, don't mind summer league, but Poole, k.l., bey, peavy, Trey they are all good Hawkins shooting, Missi even had gotten better
