Şengün came into the league as a 19 year old already on his 5th season he was before a 6'9 undersized center who had great potential to be a really good player and since he add more strength and he has grown to almost 7'0 he can see the whole court and with his passing skills and vision. The only issue Şengün had for his entire career is his footspeed as his footspeed is really slow and it limits him to become a good defender. If he can try and improve that he is gonna be a great player for a longtime
The best of all, Rockets did not look like a team whose starting PG tore his ACL when Alpi was on the floor, even for a second. That was one of the bigger question marks going into the season for them and it really seems like Alpi got a big chunk of that load handled.
I counted 4 wasted assists, which would have made a potential double-double in 17 minutes if the passes had been converted into buckets. That's insane.
