Kornet should be starting 5 when the season begins. It seems they have a nice combination with wemby.

Wemby’s third year and we finally have a true center to pair him with. That will be fun to watch. He actually has someone who can set a pick for him who can roll and be a threat at the basket. Plus the two of them out there at the same time is big on defense as well. They likely can’t spend too long out there at the same time since they are our two main centers but this will be much better than previous years. Nothing against Collins but he isn’t really a center. We haven’t had one since we traded Poeltl, and Kornet is more physical.
Already a better backup big to Wemby than Zach Collins
Kornet is a force down low. Opposing teams are now trying to figure out how to defend the formidable Spurs twin towers . This combo is amazing.
A lot of Kornet's points here were off of rolls/dump offs, which speaks to his timing and positioning, but the scrimmage last weekend showed how great he was on making quick moves in the post as well. If he stays healthy, Kornet may actually be the best traditional center we've had since Timmy retired.

The starting 5 could finally be : Fox – Vassell – Barnes – Wemby – Kornet.
Kornet and Wemby to dominate the paint (high efficiency, rebounds and elite rim protection).
Vassell and Barnes for the spacing (Vassell for the secondary creation and Barnes as pure off-ball player).
Fox to create the chaos (30% usage).
Let's make the young players to develop together in the second unit.
