I’m still the only one talking about ASSISTS!
What people seem to be missing is that Tuomas is building a collective.
That secondary playmaking Damichael talked about earlier? ALL of them are in charge of that. Last game we had 11 players with at least 1 assist. This is what’s most important now while we’re still building the structure of the system. Everything else comes after.
Cedric will be fine , give the guy a chance to show what he can do on the court.

Some things of note: Joe the glazing is getting out of hand bruh. Be you but be cool. Also, not worried bout Ced at all. He’ll be fine. I think there’s a quality about Vince’s game that goes very unnoticed. If you watch the second half starting where Cam struggled to run the offense, Vince tried to step up and navigate the flow and spacing. Not saying he’s a floor general but go back and watch. And O-Max didn’t look good but i loved the effort. him, Vince, Ced, Wells, and Jaren/Edey sound crazy on paper defensively.
Pump the brakes on the new HC…it’s all about the players.

When Duncan and Co were gone they were awful. He did not forget how to coach.
Why not make a trade for rebounding big or get a legit big from the G league. I hv no issues with PJ Hall but there are people who can rebound and defend. Go find that guy.

To be clear, you can’t judge Cedric coward off a single pre season game, especially after not playing basketball for over a year, but I never saw what all the excitement was about? Like, I literally never saw it? I tried, but there is very minimal footage of him.
I fought with so many people about Bane. “Trade Bane!”; “This trade had great value!” IT WAS ALL BULLSH!7! Like I mentioned, you are likely not getting more than 40 minutes from Bane moves. You definitely are not getting even a half bane from KCPs 34 minutes. Then Coward? I don’t think he’s going to get many minutes when people are back.
The bane trade was terrible!
The money is the same and the productivity is not even close to Bane.
Btw, Bane was one of our best rebounders and the dudes first pre season game he got like 9 rebounds in less than 20 minutes and I think he had 5 assists. We let an amazing basketball player walk and it was Zach kleiman stupid! Only that moron would do this!

Rebounding is so overrated in the modern NBA. Last season, OKC finished 19th in the league in rebound percentage, and the Pacers were 28th in the league in rebound percentage, yet both teams made it to the Finals. No recent team has made a deep run in the playoffs with a big slow center unless he's an offensive genius named Jokic, and for sure, Zach Edey is no offensive genius. The Grizzlies should have done everything in their power to trade Zach Edey this summer, but instead, they are doubling down on his big slow ass and that's RIDICULOUS!!

Calm down. It's one preseason game. Landale and Aldama are adequate backups. Landale fits the system better than Jay Huff. Landale rebounds and screen setting is better than Huffs. Don't forget that we cheaped out on backups to pay JJJ. If Landale and any other reserves are preforming well will be traded by the deadline, I promise🤞🏿
I wish Coward had a better handle and Aldama had more quickness.. but I'm glad we have both.
