  1. Calm down 1st preseason game , small sample size here. What stood out to me was our starters vs Memphis bench we getting cooked! We looked rusty and the chemistry needs work. I don’t want to hear we going to rely on stew as a 3 pt “spacer”. Stew can hit a timely 3 here and there , but that is not a consistent game plan I want to see. Ron/Ausar lineup is interesting , need to see more, and if Ausar can truly be relied on as a ball handler/playmaker. Ivey looked out of Rhythm, coach got to find out how to build the best lineups for success. A lot of work to do….

  2. NGL KU I was always one of them
Ppl on here criticizing you over Ivey😂 I think I’m done now while he is a good player he remind me of why Steve Kerr doesn’t play JK, the IQ just not there, running into crowed lanes only to not execute , he plays a different style than we played last season that made us win!!! However I think he might snap into the program hopefully cause if not Ron will take his spot asap

  3. Our defense was great at times for sure, but I'm pretty sure I've seen some of those Grizzlies at the YMCA recently. I didn't recognize many of their players until they showed the guys in street cloths on their bench. Cade looked amazing!! Ivey looked rusty and gets a free pass. Made his only 3 which was nice. Ron looked pretty good overall. Love that he nailed his first 3 with confidence. Ausar looked great at some things, but his offense is still a work in progress. I wasn't loving some of the moves on his attempted drives, and I am really hoping to see improvement in that area. The one 3 where we had a perfect look from behind seemed to show a more structured stroke that was smooth. He missed it short, but the form looked improved. Jenkins is my guy as I've wrote about in the past. He makes the game look easy more often than not, and I don't understand why he continues to be an afterthought rather than someone we can't wait to get into the rotation. I'm not sure what else he can do. I don't study his defense, but I can only assume it stinks because his offense seems pretty darn good. Whether it was spot minutes at the end of games last year, summer league, G league and now pre-season, he just looks like a good player. If we would have drafted him 3rd overall last year, we would be excited as heck from what he has done in summer league and last night.

  4. I agree with Jankins, I hope he gets semi regular minutes this year. Especially in games where we have a lead and some of the guys are shooting well, it could be a good time to get Cade extra rest.

  5. Daniss is overall a better player than Sasser. If we need a backup PG Daniss is the guy. Been clear to see ever since summer league 2 years ago. It wasn’t just this preseason game.

  6. Bball Paul is the 3rd chaos brother. Get him in a lineup with Ausar and Holland at some point. That lineup would piss people off haha

  7. Daniss is easily better than Sasser and it’s not even close at all. way better defender and playmaker, solid shooter, he’s quite a bit bigger than Sasser. He should at a minimum get just as many minutes as Sasser.

  8. I don’t know if he’ll crack the rotation but I’d love to see a lineup of sasser, Ron and Ausar… sasser playing the lanes from on defense form the pressure Ausar and Ron cause and he’s a bucket on the offensive side, with Ausar taking the playmaking role if he isn’t there yet

  9. Trade Ivey and holland for Lauri that’s my only thing Ivey will never be a star I like Ivey but for 1 he doesn’t fit next to Cade let’s stop forcing it before his value falls

  10. I would be shopping Sasser to a contender that needs depth like Denver and fill his role with Jenkins who makes a lot more sense with our current roster
