I dont like the approach at all with this camp. They are taking it too light. I dont get it why Luka does not participate. Its his decision to play for Slovenia. Now its time to play for Lakers and close to 55 mil $ paycheck. Go to the court!
Great point, Luka, LaBron, Reeves, Ayton, Smart, Rui, Vando, Vincent, Kneitch, Maxi, Hayes & Jake needs their asses on the floor getting after it. Chemistry is developed over time on the court together. Not individuals doing their own thing. LaBron & Luka if you are our leaders??? Lead by example. Let's Go.

I think it’s a little ridiculous to be honest
The fact of the matter is that until all athletes are on the floor together practicing and playing in preseason games then they aren't maximizing or even learning how to play together as a cohesive team!
Coach Reddick wants to use these fancy phrases and terminology to explain what he envisions for a top tier championship team but is sitting their best athletes during the most opportune time to get them ramped up and ready to win!
Unfortunately if things stay the what that they are I definitely see preseason being one lackluster game after another. This will also reach into the regular season and although their first 10 games should end up with a, say 7 and 3 record respectively. I'm looking at more of a 5 and 5 maybe a 6 and 4 record.
My point is that if they took the time to practice together during training camp and preseason instead of using,"safety protocols", or whatever b.s their calling it. Then they could easily go 10 and 0 over these first games as the schedule is pretty favorable the first 10 games.
It’s looking real sloppy so far from the lakers. Do not like this at all.
Fans are really locked in Lakers training camp and preseason games. More then players. Fans are not happy how Lakers are preparing for season and because of that Lakers will lose first 10 regular season games. 😄

The lack of practice is on them!! Lots of time to get practice. Why wouldn’t they start earlier??
It can work and it was going to work.But rob failed to get a quality big to help them in the playoffs.He could have picked up javelle.Mcgee, and they would have won the championship.They had absolutely nobody for rudy and other centers to come after losing anthony davis, everybody in the world knew that.And rob did nothing.

I'm just hearing a bunch of excuses for an upcoming underwhelming season. Athletic guards and wings will still give LA problems. I got Lakers ending the season in 6th or 7th seed
JJ hasn’t implemented his system with the guys yet. Once he does, you can tell he’ll get mad and yell at the them if they make a mistake. So far I haven’t seen any cohesiveness with any of the 2 best playmakers in the nba yet either. Can’t really judge them until they all play together. Still waiting on Luka and Lebron, the best ball passers in the game. The team offense will definitely flow better.
Idc if we lose every preseason game as long as we’re not out there looking like scrubs! We SHOULD/NEED to look like a unit that’s gelling together and embracing Mamba Mentality🙏🏼💜💛💯. Ofc it’s difficult right now being that we have guys just coming back from injury or out due to injury, and our whole team hasn’t really had that full training camp to gel before a new season. On the flip side though we have had the same team pretty much the past 4 seasons now.
That said I know besides the addition of Luka and the guys we picked up this offseason/minus AD and Max Christie. STAY READY SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO GET READY!!! Very much needs to be our entire roster’s mindset! (JJ and the entire roster) should have a base understanding of what this team is gonna be with or without LeBron and Luka on the floor. Yes we got new additions to the team but let’s be realistic unless Vando has significantly improved his 3pt shooting he’s still coming off the bench. Rui is staying our starting PF/SF and Marcus Smart should start for us a few games but primarily should run the second unit.
The Lakers got what they wanted a Big man now they can go all the way Marcus Smarts will ,be the one to shut down the best scorers his defense is unstoppable he is the key to winning a championship Marcus Smarts is a dangerous threat on the floor with him
On the floor we win it all everyone will play knowing that he’s everywhere on the floor let’s win
Vando should be in the starting unit to improve defense. They have 4 offensive players in that unit so they should be good on that end. Smart should be in the 2nd unit because his playmaking and offense is needed off the bench. I do not want to see much of Vando and Hayes together. Vando and Smart should each play 20-22 minutes each to keep maximum energy on defense. That is the best balance of offense and defense.
