You know Danny Ann's ain't trying to do nothing with the sixers wishful thinking

You know Danny Ames ain't going to trade for no Paul George stop dreaming
Nahh it would probably require trading future first round picks and I don’t want to do that.

Utah going to want young talent plus picks along with George to match salary with markkenen
If Danny does anything with the sixes, you can definitely believe he’s gonna fleece us because he know that our Gm is not the smartest guy
I'd trade PG and 2 firsts for him. I'm so mad we got PG on this roster. Never wanted him, and never will.
We already owe 2026 to OKC and 2028 to Brooklyn why are we still mortgaging our future for a player not guaranteed to put us over the top especially when our depth is already thin
Of course Utah is open to trade him, before he got a max contract he was a hot commodity,now he’s a taller version of Paul George.
23 points a game on 42% shooting 30% from 3 in 9 games, dominate? Really? Your bar for dominance is pretty low.
The bigger question is, would you trust Danny Ainge? He has a way of making the Sixers look foolish in every transaction.

Imho, your breakdown is pretty spot on, except for your understanding of his value.
While it is lower now, with the new contract, and the weak 24-25 season, it’s still very high. And his recent team Finland stint has reinvigorated the market. Furthermore, if he plays like 22-23, or 23-24, again, that’s a wrap – back to 3-4 firsts, and young talent, along with the salary match.
So, even if we are talking just about his current value, your trade hypo is not even remotely close to what Utah would want/need for Lauri.
George is coming off of an injury plagued, awful season, now at age 35, on an awful contract.
Taking on that contract alone, would cost Philly multiple firsts (if George comes out healthy and awesome, this would change – but as of right now, that’s the reality). So, if Philly is not willing to add Edgecombe, and multiple firsts, to your hypo, Utah easily hangs up the phone.
