Oh boy. Bandwagon 🤦♂️🤦♂️. I want the gritty Knicks to win. Not selling out for top tiers whether they win or lose. It loses the appeal. Where was he when the Knicks needed him. Stop please we don’t need Giannis! We have two top 15 players as starters, 2 top 10 defensive players starting and the best defensive Center in the league starting. That’s our starting 5. We just upgraded our bench and arguably the best or deepest bench in the league. Is it perfect? No but it’s very good.. We only need to tweak certain things we don’t need to give away half our team for anybody. We have no assets!!!!

A trio of Brunson/OG/Giannis and if we are able to keep Mikal along with some good quality rotation players the Knicks will be a formidable team to contend with IMO. But I think the Knicks right now are in a win-win situation.

We’ve been swing lately the teams that blow their teams up for star players have been doing much worse. Examples Lakers for Russel, suns for KD and Bradley Beal, and etc. we traded too many picks for bridges but we still have a deep team. Let’s not make the same mistake by losing our depth and not having the picks or peices to fix the structure of our roster. A emotionally decision not calculated could set us back years again and ruin everything to the point Brunson ends up leaving. We must be very smart and calculated about this
He’s also 30 yrs old whose game is based off of his athleticism without shooting ability. He’s like a 6’10 Westbrook Might only be able to perform at a high level till he’s 35 and hit a sharp decline. It’s really not worth losing everything for him.
