HI it's me again. I called 5/150 the last couple broadcasts. Do it before someone puts you 5/225 in the hole next off season.
Josh Lloyd of Locked on Fantasy Basketball thinks Grant starting over Deni is lethally funny.
you could see that toumni deni and sharp knows each other game – and plays great together
it can be the starting lineup if you feel that you have to start with grant, sharp needs to start!
RIP CITY CHILE !!
Jerami rebounded (surprise!) but still can't shoot. Worst performance of all forwards. BENCH.
Shae's defense looked solid. If he's a neutral defender this year signing him wont be cheap.
Was at the game and taking abuse from the Dubs in my Dame jersey. Shaedon looked great. Hansen looked as lost as Myers Leonard did most of his career.
Mike. Can you do a show on what Giannis's worth would be if he traded this year. And what the picks from Milwuakie that Blazers control would be worth in the event of a trade similar to the Bridges trade when the nets got their picks back.
Give Shae the Jabari Smith Jr contract, 5 years 125 million
Deni coming off the bench was strange but he will still be the starter, the leader and best player on the team
Man if Grant starts instead of deni billups needs to go home
Do you want to know how good the NBA is in this modern era in the last 7 years there's been seven different champions it's almost impossible to repeat because everybody is so elite and it's all about matchups in the playoffs now but the blazers can match with anyone damn near it's all about how our offense performs. next year yall with Dame for sure. we get one year to master our defense in the playoffs and next year we're going all the way with Dame's playmaking and offense
If every player on the Blazers roster is completely healthy then the starting lineup should be Scoot, Shae, Deni, Tou, and Cling. Jrue, Grant coming off the bench.
Our starters left mid third quarter up 17. The 2 ways list the game. It is still a win i dont count the second half.
Fastest recap in the west!
Deni-Tou-Sharpe 💪
i think one of the strength that yang is ball handling…but we don't really see any ball pass on his hands at all or even touch the ball in most of rounds…maybe that's just not how blazer plays..if so then just don't expect a Jokić in your team…..
The only disappointment I saw on the first pre-season game is Rupert. I was hoping for more. I guess he needs more seasoning in the G League
Why isnt Deni starting?
You can expect the same underwhelming, underachieving product again this year. Billups isn't capable and hasn't put together a competitive team ever!
Cj mcculom should return to strengthen the bench
I wonder, if Rob Williams is back, who gets bumped? Does Yang Hansen spend time in the G league?
Was hilarious seeing warriors fans hype up their team based on the 4th quarter but all hella silent how their starters got owned by the blazers in the first half. But they are up there with lakers fans as hella casual bad take folks.
Camra, Deni and Sharpe looked good. Center rotation and Grant was not good. Centers clogged the driving lanes.
Best moment of the night for me:
Wop's monster block 🚫
First thought was that ball-stopper JG has got to go. He's the next to be bought out, it can't happen soon enough.
I can never understand calling a foul on a guy where the ball has already left his hand. Toumani's foul on Curry happened while the ball was in the air. Can somebody explain to me how that could possibly effect the flight of the ball? Is there some strange physics going on?
As for the game, they showed a lot of potential, especially on the defensive side. The offense looks as expected a mixed bag. Still a lot of guys hanging in the corner and a little too much traffic in the key. The shooting was good when they made good passes. Caleb Love was quite bad running the team but he's a rook as is Hansen, who also struggled to find a groove. Go Blazers.
Man, the "D" was super impressive and we did not get to see Matisse Thybulle yet. I think Duop Reath was very good, he don't get enough mentions, dude is solid.
I was really happy with what we saw. I don't care at all that they lost or about the second half at all for that matter. Most of the guys that played the second half and closed out the game and not going to see big minutes. The first half was great, the guys that we need to be good were good. I liked what we saw on defense, they took great care of the ball, took good shots, had great chemistry. I know this is preseason and these games ultimately don't mean anything, but if they can maintain this level of intensity on both ends during the regular season, the future is bright and this is going to be a really fun season.
