The talent was accumulated by Masai Ujiri; he just got his severance outta there, new guy coming in could and should have a new vision, so they are actually in a revolving door as a franchise currently. Ownership needs to get aligned with someone and their vision, and back them, then the ball can get rolling on them getting back to the playoffs, let alone being competitive. There might be a slight false hope opening this season in the injury-riddled Eastern Conference.

The talent is there but the fit is terrible. Kings lack depth and length. Keegan is the only true 3 on the team but is playing out of position at the 4 and is the only plus defender in the starting line up. Lavine and DeRozan are terrible defenders, don't think Schoeder offers much on as a starter…. Team won't be decent until after the 2026 season when they can offload Lavine and DeRozan.

Ingram just plays for money and there's nothing wrong with that but he's not screwing himself up long term.
It's Ingram's 10th season, so I'm not expecting him to start doing things he hasn't already been doing. He has to prove that he can be a top option on a team that expects to do well.
