Panathinaikos got back to winning ways by grabbing its first victory at Baskonia since 2017. The visitors relied on Kendrick Nunn’s heroics on Thursday night to end a seven-game losing slide by edging Baskonia 84-86 in Vitoria. Baskonia went on a 7-0 run early in the second half to grab the lead for the first time in the game, but Nunn netted 9 straight points, with Panathinaikos pulling away, 56-71, in the closing stages of the third quarter. The hosts bounced back and tied it at 84-84 with 4 seconds left on the clock, but Nunn nailed a buzzer-beating long two to seal the outcome.

Panathinaikos improved its record to 2-1, with the 30-year-old guard ending the game on 30 points. Cedi Osman netted 20, with Juancho Hernangomez completing a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds. Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot bagged 15 points, with Trent Forrest and Hamidou Diallo scoring 15 each, but Baskonia lost its third straight game.
