The preseason for the Hawks has finally arrived, which means we finally got the first look of how Quin Snyder would deploy his rotations. One starter might come as a surprise. We talk about it all on this episode of Atlanta Basketball with Caleb Johnson.

  1. The Hawk's should play two BIGS, KP and OO. Having the twin towers will compensate for the sloppy help defender wrinkles in last night's game. Secondly KP and OO played well together in those short spells. More ball movement will provide for more touches to keep players in rhythm and to help find a man in his respective sweet spot also. With proper adjustments and more familiarity, each coming game played will look better. .Just a personal opinion.

  2. I love the double big lineup but KP needs to be coming off the bench. He doesn’t match our starters play style on both ends. So let him come off the bench as the 6man like Dhunt did. Let the second unit offense runs through him and let him play drop coverage on defense.

  3. KP has almost never come off the bench in his career, unless he was coming off an injury or illness. The Hawks want to keep him happy if they're trying to resign him after this year.
