Oh. My. Shill is still shill. Kings are Done before the season starts and Matt won't even call Vivek out prior to next season yet again. The problem is clearly the problem. Yet Matt brings up the refs. Yeah its always, always, always! something else and won't ever, ever, go over the clear problem.

I'm not sure if there is A player in the entire NBA that makes scoring look easier then Zach Lavine.
I'm not convinced there is A better shooter in the NBA then Zach Lavine.
The fanbase was jaded the 2nd half of the season so kind of glossed over Zach Lavine's two game stretch at both Cleveland and Detroit when He went like 11/14 from 3 those two games and scored 40. Two very good playoff teams in their house.
Its like no matter what He did the fan base didn't care because of how much He was paid and the fact He was traded for Fox.
Huge huge props to Lavine for being A consummate professional.
Whats crazy is that He has mad hops but rarely displays it. He's honest to God one of the most gifted offensive players I've ever seen
I don't understand the recent negativity I've seen from other Kings fans, online. Preseason games are exhibition games. Only rookies, out of rotation players, and guys that are just barely hanging on around the edges of the league have incentives to try hard and play hard. Vets and established NBA players know that preseason performances don't affect their pay or stats. The appropriate time for negativity is during the regular season or playoffs. If the Kings start the season off poorly, that would be a great time to be negative. It's weird watching adults have meltdowns online, over exhibition games. It would be like a baseball fan getting mad when their favorite team lost Spring Training games. "Nooooo! Not the preseason games! Blow it up! Start the tank!". It's odd. Oh, and tanking doesn't lead to championships. So anyone calling for the Kings to "blow it up" need to understand that it could be 5+ years (after the complete commitment to tanking) before the Kings would even become as good as they were last season (40-42 and a play-in loss).

They played much better in the second game but you made a lot of great points. The biggest problem I’m seeing with Sacramento is that they keep allowing offensive rebounds. They need to close out the possessions after the stop.
Matt, it doesn’t get any easier on offense than in the preseason. Keep it real. I’m confident that this team is STILL undersized and defensively challenged with no hope of getting into the playoffs or play in. It doesn’t seem like we will see a “culture/identity” change until the season starts, if at all. The only fun in watching this team is getting to see the rookies and young players play inspiring basketball. They are the ones who should be featured, the ones who play hard and compete.
I saw on instagram yesterday night the kings actually played well this game then in the first open preseason game. Lots of great points Matt. What I really want to see is Sabonis boosting his confidence. If he can do that all season long he’ll be a threat. I thought Clifford played well. 123-124 only a one point loss not too shabby, but this is giving us a taste of what the regular is going to be like. I hope the regular season doesn’t start off 0-2. If they want to win, defense is key. 🔐. Christie back in his prime was a locked on defense minded player who showed toughness and determination to help his kings team win

The second unit seems really sus so far in this first 2 games. No REAL bench scoring is going to be a problem if Sabonis keeps getting into early foul trouble and the Kings are giving up permieter 3s.
