  1. MAILBAG: 2 part thing, is attaching draft capital and couple of players along with Kuminga to get a wing player say Keegan Murray level A) Viable and B) something the Warriors have any chance of doing? I think a consolidation trade like this is the best thing that can be done by the Warriors to give Steph Jimmy and the crew a 2 year solid window to try and win 1.

  2. Mailbag: Will a trae young offense make some noise in the playoffs? last time trae had success in the playoffs was in 2021 when the teams he played against had centers who played either hedge, drop, or blitz. Trae Young is a genius player when it comes to beat those defenses, however he struggles to beat switch defenses such as how we saw against miami heat in 2022, since now in 2025 its more common to play switch defenses, will trae young’s heliocentric type offense have some success or just struggle like it has been recently? even tho the team got better. Trae young was 0.86 points per possesion on isolation in 2024 i think. Btw jason love ur show, helped me understand basketball in a whole diff way, u and kenny beecham, thinking basketball, coach nick from bballbreakdown, just helped me understand a lot abt nba basketball and just let me know how little i know about basketball compared to u guys, cheers for the vids you put out.

  3. One reason don couldn't just slide to point and create the same offense without garland is he can't kick out to himself. DG absolutely runs the offense but the attention Mitchell draws even without a touch is good for offense. Now put him on ball, and he gives you a 48 pt playoff loss, over 30 per game still. Don may be the best player attacking closeouts, bc high has a quick high jumping shot, so you have to closeout fast and hard, but also a quick first step, and great finishing ability. Max strus not the same attacking closeouts. Using the pacers series to say don isn't a good offensive engine is not fair and incorrect. Even having a healthy garland to kick out too would've made don at the point more viable. So saying he isn't a good offensive engine is like saying Giannis isnt a good offensive engine anymore because the bucks shot 1/30 in the first half. They both create good kickouts. Their teammates just sucked those particular series. Respect to Indy tho. That full court pressure makes it difficult for one player to beat them.

  4. I think the Bucks are going to have a better season than a lot of people are giving credit for, & I think Giannis will have real MVP numbers. Saying this early to see how this comment ages.

  5. Mailbag: for a player like Josh giddy who you think is not good enough as a primary creator, would you like them as a secondary guy next to a jokic or giannis? Or is that still too big a role as a lead perimeter player?

  6. Bucks were 16-8 without dame last season, the guy did not impact winning, terrible defense , inconsistent shooting, had to score 30 plus to impact winning. this is a better team without dame

  7. Someone please tell me why everyone sees Jaden Ivey as this star to be alongside Cade ?? Clearly I need to be enlightened the kid is solid he is not a star

  8. Once again, the Bucks don't have bad perimeter defense. They lack good wings, but the Bucks have guards who are good on both sides of the ball. They aren't OKC, but they are competent defensively with the right lineups. The Bucks aren't favorites, but they shouldn't be dismissed as contenders either. There is a possibility they are quite a bit better than people believe with championship upside as a 2nd tier contender. People should wait and see before making such strong takes about them. Look at how the Clippers improved last year as PG left, and they brought in depth of role player talent in his stead. They have a possibility to have a similar story to them.

  9. Cavs defense was fools gold. Garland/ Mobley / Allen good but lack of physicality. Then max strus/wade merill too many minutes to those players
