    Jamal wasn't worth 52 mil nor 48 so its not a haggle. Hes a 35 to 40 mil player and that 12 mil is another player that won't be here because of it.

    Nuggets need to call any team willing to pay Christian 25-30mil per year (I doubt they exist, but let's say they do) and remind them what happened to Bruce Brown and KCP when they got huge contracts to play on other teams after playing with Jokic. Christian may look like a 25mil player beside Jokic, he would look like a 16mil player elsewhere. Nuggets should be willing to pay him 20-22mil per year, no more.

    CB is a 20 mul player right now. With upside he is in NO way near as good as AG at 30 mil.

    That woukd be an over pay. 20 mil tops.

    I agree with Ryan Murray is overpaid. Fox, Maxey, Mitchell, Ball, Lavine are all all stars. Murray is overpaid but by 20 to 30 percent not majorly overpaid.

    To start this…il first say that CB is my 3rd favorite player in Denver… after Jokić and AG!
    Then i will say that if they give him 25-30mill immediately after rookie contract is once again terrible mistake even worst than MPJ contract and they wilk ruin everything good that they did this season and make situation even worst.
    There is no sane team in NBA who wants to win and possibly win the chip that would give CB nothing near 25-30mill.
    We understand that kid only step up in starting 5 last season because we lost KCP and had some good luck and solid regular season…and not so solid playoffs.
    Kid can run,jump make some wide open 3p (more in regular than in playoffs till now)…he is good solid on defense… nothing crazy, but he is solid and have space to improve there more then in everything else.
    He will never be some crazy 3p shooter….his form doesn't allow it,and there is more sign's that he will never be more than he is now…than other way around!
    Kid doesn't have moves and driblings… that's just not his game…so we come to the point what about him is worth 25+mill immediately after rookie contract?!What we paying for the future?!He is not now and will never be better player for example Cam is…so little brain in the head is needed here.
    I know that today are much more megalomaniacs than realistic people on the world…but if team is at least a bit smart and they want best for the team and to win as much possible in next year's…then offer him contract that start at 15 and ends at max 20…let us see how he continues to develope and then next contract wil be on more certain facts than on future projection!
    If he doesn't except 15-20 and he thinks he is next Kobe Bryant…. let him go,let him try that someone give him more than that!We as team for 25-30 mil can bring 2 solid player on his place or literally some star player!
    Again…if we give him that crazy contract…this will be last season that Jokić will have some of good team around him….we will have 4 players in starting 5 and rest of minimal contract's and that's it.
