  1. Last season of the Spurs 5 man lineups with more than 100 minutes CP3-PG, Vassell – SG, Barnes – SF, Wemby – C, Sochan – PF was the best at 16.2 netrtg. That's better than OKC's starting lineup. With Fox instead of CP-3 it should be even better. As soon as all the main rotation players are healthy that should be the starting lineup, unless, of course, everybody isn't healthy way past mid November. NBA rotation players don't generally reach their peak until around age 28. Both KJ and DV have a few more years to go before they reach their peak. Now that the rotation as a whole is a lot more stable and his early season injury woes are behind him and that hopefully he will be playing the SG rather and SF (and Barnes SF rather than PF) I expect his performance to be close to where he would have been if not for everything that happened in 2024-25. Everything you said about KJ and DV being willing to go to the bench goes double for Dylan, Castle, and Bryant. In fact I have heard all 3 say that and also Bryant knows he will probably play significant time in G-LEAGUE. Castle can't play SG until his shooting improves if the Spurs want to be successful this season.

  2. I'm not going to sugar coat this, but watching Johnson and Vassell last preseason game made me sick to my stomach, they just do the same thing over and over, and during their whole time with the spurs, they have not shown they are winners. I'm not saying they are not good players, they have a role in this league, and will have long careers in my opinion, but they have that losing stank on them. Sorry for being negative, but I'm ready to see anybody but them on the court for my spurs.

  3. Julian needs more PT!!!!!!! I would be SHOCKED if Barnes and his expiring contract are not moved by the Feb deadline!!!!
