    I could be very wrong. But if the pelicans are a good team. Fears will not play much. What I saw in the preseason games was not a contributor to a good nba team. Hopefully I’m wrong.

    I love fears but he is younger than Ivey who was 20. Same age as Coby but role will be very different. I see G league or 8 and 3 something like that. I do love him long term I just don't think he's gonna contribute this year to winning basketball at all. I hope I'm wrong.

    2nd year center, 2 first round rooks and a high second rounder all potentially a part of the rotation. Our starting guard is out for about half the season. Sounds like a rebuild season to me. Joe Dumars started the rebuild this year instead of next year with a high draft pick. We need effort, experience, and health to have a successful season. Playoff are a longshot and not expected. I am good with that as long as we move in the right direction with growth. Go Pels.

    Fears needs to become a better shooter and reduce his turnover. The GLeague will help him considerably. Any word on Jose's injury? Could it be bad? Murray's recent post seems to suggest that he may be recovering quicker than the average player. Guard rotation will be interesting.

    Joe dumars knows what he's doing ! He showed us why having 3 or more players at all positions is so important. We are down both Jose and Murray but yet we have Poole and fears playing really good preason ball . After watching fears and the first preason game I thought fears probably wouldn't be NBA ready when the season start. But he played really good this last game . Saddiq played really really really good and I believe we are in for a surprise on who will be the (starting) small forward. Saddiq may get the start over herb this year . And that isn't a bad thing either.
