Tim Legler on Cooper Flagg’s Versatility, Anthony Davis’ Offensive Role & The Mavs’ Stout Frontcourt

Tim Legler from the ALL NBA Podcast joins us to discuss his evaluation of Cooper Flagg so far, including why he thinks the rookie will find his stride and swagger relatively early in the season. He also gives his thoughts on Anthony Davis as a playmaker in the new offense, the strength of Dallas’ frontcourt, and whether the Mavs will generate enough offense.

  1. Sooo excited to watch Cooper and the team this season. Even tho it’s not ideal without kyrie I think they’re going to be really good and fun to watch. Even better when Kyrie returns.

  2. It’ll be very interesting to eventually see how Coop handles a 6 6/ 6 7” version of a Wallace type defender pressing him during the season. They’ll have more length to dissuade his handle and the “go straight into post up” move won’t be as effective.

  3. Sadly Jaden takes a lot of shot and not really efficient with the ball. I'm hoping now in years to see him shine but don't think he has it at the moment
