  1. rebounding ?? Ya'll took that stat out of context, just to make Coach mad. Did nobody look at the Cavs shooting stats ?? They bricked 48 threes… balls were doinking everywhere.. the Celtics can't grab them all … geesh

  2. Nooooo he wasnt mad at that He was mad at the media asking the same exact questions for three years and has given same exact answer

  3. Whats troubling to me is his answer on philosophy…. Create 2 on 1s If there isnt any find a way to create 2 on 1s To me in the NBA this is a troubling philosophy to have… It also same time makes alot of sense stagnation we have seen

  4. They were looking for 2 on ones If they couldn’t create them then they just chucked the ball up!!! Smfh! Very troubling that even the coach hasnt learned from that!!!!

  5. The sleeve thing has to do with Kobe Bryant, I remember a few days ago someone asked him about that and he said it was because of Kobe…maybe it improves arm circulation.

  6. Joe threw everything at a wall hoping something would stick. I’m lost on the rebounding woes, we have decent length for the most part. I think it’s gotta be a more concerted effort for all 5 guys on the floor. You almost have to count rebounds as points for this team. If we lose possession, pace is pointless. Without securing rebounds you cannot have 100+ possessions a game.

Someone other than Joe needs to breathe down people’s necks for not getting the board or not boxing out. We cannot just have the coach scream at players for losing concentration or giving up offensive boards. Someone needs to upset some teammates and secure the ball.

  7. I can't imagine Spo, Kerr and Pop ever being as rude as Joe… and those 3 have coached way longer and surely have been asked questions over and over again in their long, storied careers. 🤷‍♀️

  8. Most pundits predicted The C's would have trouble rebounding, yet Stevens decided so far, not to go get a rebounder(he still has the 15th spot open I believe). It's most likely he wants to wait and see what the current team has, or its wanting to hold back, because of money/tax penalties. Unfortunately, it also looks like Scheierman, might not make it as an NBA player.

  9. The media and podcasters keep asking the same questions over and over. It’s ridiculous. We need real media back. But everything is for clicks and likes. It’s destroying everything.

  10. People forget how many boards JT used to get for us. I always kinda thought it was stat padding but it seems like it was very necessary.

  11. Reality check… CB is not a center, he is a twig. He weighs 200 pounds. High energy off the bench forward his entire career. Even small centers like Draymond at 240 pounds would move him around like a rag doll. 1+1 does not = 3. Get real Celtics nation.

  12. John how sad and boring to hear your intro to establish your relevance. Get over it already… we know your past as a player and author. Who cares!!! You do yourself a disservice. I am that guy who is telling you that your fly is down. Your videos are normally pretty good. Stand on that.

  13. The substitution situation every time someone gave up an offensive rebound would have been hilarious if it wasn't so big of a potential problem. Point made Mazulla. I am so curious to see if that continues when the games are real. Normally, the answer would be no way, don't be ridiculous, but with Joe? It just doesn't sound as crazy.

  14. Queta played well for the time he was out there, I thought. TBF, they've been a bad rebounding team for years, even with the bigs we had, so it's frustrating but it's nothing new. Loose balls always seem to go to the other team. We seem to be a half step behind, for the most part. Why? Because the other teams have been the (severe) underdogs and they've had to scrap to hope to beat us. Just like "handsy" teams get the best of us. They have to muck it up and, until we can deal with it, they'll continue to do it. So, very smart of Joe to put a huge emphasis on the rebounding and make it penal so they remember this going forward, to a man (and team), and weave it into their DNA esp while they have a bunch of new, young guys.

  15. It’s funny to me tht this is even a discussion, like Joe’s been saying for a long while now, rebounding is always been key and everyone shud be crashing the boards. U can’t play 🏀 without the 🏀, on defense u try to tke it away and possibly score, on offense u keep it until u score. John I disagree we dnt knw wut the outcome would’ve been had the starters played, bos also playing with young and new guys so this win wasn’t for Nthn. Still growth to come for every nba team

  16. Game 2 I loved that he was just subbing guys out when they missed rebounding assignments. Last night tho it felt like it was in their head – worried more about missing a rebound than actually going and getting it.

  17. The good news is the defense seems better than expected at large. The bad news is it doesn’t matter if you can’t rebound.

  18. I enjoyed the mini dunk show in the second half. Minott windmill, the Cavs (Johnson?) MJ dunk, and the Wendell More posterization.

  19. How is Joe expecting Rebounding when he has EVERYBODY camping out in the three point line hunting 3⃣'s…! Counterproductive Stupidity…!!! 🤔🤦‍♂️🤷🏻🤣

  20. You know how you improve rebounding, by not positioning rebounders on the perimeter to hunt shot's. Being in position to get a rebound, is just as important as your effort to get the rebound.

THAT'S JUST COMMON SENSE, BASKETBALL 101…!!!

  21. We will know in March what we have. Until then we will hear local Boston Media overreact to their own overreactions. So far we have 3 preseason games of data against no real teams. The East is full of flawed teams
