I think we looked really good tbh to say golden state didn’t try is completely dishonest.
expectations ?? This is new territory for Blazers fans. It's been 4 straight seasons of the GM telling fans, "I'd like to win more games.. but for me, the most exciting part of 'my season' is when we get to draft a lottery pick."
It is only the first preseason game and means nothing . i suggest not to jump to any conclusion based on preseason games

What i liked about sharpe was seeing him uingry for basically taking the lead spot showing its his team and he was going to take what he wanted

I believe in these guys and I can’t wait till next year especially but they’re gonna do great this year and they’re gonna get over 40 wins
It's pretty obvious they are lacking in term of offense.
Like you said, they will need to make defensive stops (steals/blocks/rebounds) and push the ball for fast-breaks and transition baskets before the defense is set.
I believe the only way they make the play-in is if these things happen:
1) Holiday shoots well from 3 and is healthy.
2) Sharpe is an effective scorer, and doesn't force shots.
3) Avdija keeps playing like he did after the all-Star break and improves his ball handling.
4) Scoot finally shows everyone why he was drafted 3rd and learns how to run a team as a PG.
5) Clingan is aggressive with the ball in the paint.
6) Camara increases his scoring.
7) Jerami grant decides to retire…
