lol everyone putting their hopes on kuminga. the best the warriors can hope from him is to get some good picks…the fact of the matter with jk is when he is on the floor is the offense goes stagnant. he produces highlights, but the team falls behind. hes poole 2.0. alot of potential but for a team trying to win hes to inconsistent with his shot, his turnover and his defense.
Nah, Kuminga is mid. The ball stops with him. No post moves, no mid range. No defense either. Why would kerr play this 5 year player who has the same skills, when he was a rookie? He's just athletic, but lazy And low IQ. And he thinks he's an all Star? Deserving a max? Nah, yeah maybe in Congolese Francs.
Oh and those who said he played well against the wolves in 2nd round? Check again. He gave up more points on defense than he scored. There's a reason he got no better offers from other teams in off season. He will be gone by trade deadline, as soon as warriors can have trade package.
Giannis for Kuminga and 4 or first rounders? Plus some bench? That works both sides. Giannis is wasting away with Bucks. Warriors need to win now with steph. Who's with me? ✊
Very productive offseason for sure for JK. Better reads, positioning, grow bigger, quicker release, tighter handles. I can't wait for the season to start.
But if they do this all-game Steph will be tanked!

Warriors in last 10 years have never had a Big that can run the floor like Al, hes older , slower but his upside with dray, jimmy and steph has too much iq not to work. This team wouldve never come back in years past from 21 points with our 3rd string line up , putting 51 in the 4th is insane. Lets Pray for health

None of it really means very much until we actually see them play against real teams giving real effort in the regular season. The early signs from JK are good but I still think the team would ship him in a heartbeat if given the opportunity to get value back in return.
I think the shots and condescending attitude toward the blazers are unnecessary. Chauncey has them playing well and pretty much no one in the top 10 of our rotation was able to stay in front of their fast guards. They know where they are at in the rebuilding process which is more than can be said for many teams who have delusions about their own level of competence.
I kind of like Horford with second group to add a little veteran stability and guidance.
to see and hear JK say, 'he's letting the game come to him' suggests maturity and results in less forced shots and better stats. it'll get him more minutes in Kerr's system then he can lite it up when the time is right. his stock bout to rise
Can't really judge the second unit as that won't be the actual second unit. There is no way that Melton and Seth Curry aren't factoring into the second unit. JK should keep doing what he is doing. His offense will come but developing himself as a playmaker, but especially developing defensively and rebounding consistently is going to give him all the minutes he wants. And if he is playmaking on the second unit, he is often probably going to have Seth Curry and Melton to dish off to. We know kicking to Seth is going to be a VASTLY more consistent bucket from 3 than who was out there in this game. Cryer put himself on the radar though. And Pat Spencer looked like he has continued to improve.
Great video Swish, that was an insane comeback win although it was a preseason game. You could see the first unit just going through the motions, but a comeback win is a comeback win regardless. I feel good about this team because they have good chemistry and a good combination of youth and age.
Don’t care about JK. We’ve been waiting for 4 years now.
You are so much more on point about JK and his adjustments than some other YouTubers who just posted some video about Jk. I’m glad to see i’m not the only one seeing JK’s rewiring. It is clear he changed his approach and great things are coming for him if he keeps this same mindset.

I like Moody in there with Steph, Jimmy, Dray, and Al. I think JK is doing great; he'll figure out the balance of how often to assert himself, which he will need to do more down the line. But right now, he is proving that he can do the little things. Nothing wrong with that. I think GP should be played in spurts to disrupt other teams but would favor giving Richard more time until he proves he's not ready for that; that serves the dual purposes of developing the youngster and saving GP's body. He needs to be load-managed.
I don't think you suggested it, but I could also imagine Draymond going to the bench to captain the 2nd team, Iguodala-style. That could move Kuminga into the starting unit on occasion, which I think could be good for him. I haven't given up on the hope that he might find his place here and want to stick around.

Great work swish…..the starting 5 should be Steph, KUMUNGA, Jimmy, Al, and Draymond. But you can’t argue with Moody because he has definitely improved. Also, as you stated, it appears that Podz is the odd man out on the second team with Kuminga, and he has a rookie pushing him to the 3rd squad. When the Warriors get Melton and Seth in the lineup, Kuminga goes to the 6th man, and AJ gets a contract, there will be serious competition between Podz, Pat Spencer, and GP 2. The question is will Steve Kerr do the obvious, and move Podz to where he belongs. I think Steve has been told to stop depreciating the team’s roster because of his love for guards and a small ball motion offense. But I am afraid of how he is going to rest the seniors with a schedule that is a monster from the beginning of the season.
I think we are forgetting Melton and Seth are also on the team. They will be in that second unit so the opportunity just got slimmer.
WTF – Podz has outscored JK every game so far this season, with fewer TOs. I mean just 3 points in 18 minutes? Trade Kuminga already.

JK….with the first team, look to help others. JK with the second team, look to score… Passing off to Pods and then seeing him brick is not a great formula for success. With the second team he is the Alpha, first team he is not…
