  1. Guys, let’s appreciate Darian being open to new info. Other news outlets are basically in state propaganda mode on LA Cheaters

  2. Listen son you are going down a rabbit hole 🕳️. Ballmer can give his money to Sandburg the sand or the ocean 🌊. The only thing that matters is was there collusion to circumvent the cap. Is there a witness to said agreement ? A document a email. You can’t just assume speculate or guess that the cap was violated. You need proof. Dot connection and suggestion isn’t evidence of anything. Stop spreading misinformation about Steve Ballmer the clippers and Kawhi. You should be fired

  3. You are all going to be ok. The main media are not talking about it all. They mentioned it the first time everyone found out nothing since. Its not lebon James, so the main media doesn't care. Kawhi is a nobody to the media. The media has spoken silently. But loudly

  4. If NBA lets Balmer off the hook Clippers and Lakers are about to be given a free ticket to take over the league setting up side deals. Now that lakers ownership has deep pockets best believe they’re hoping this will be the new way to pay free agents.

  5. Mostly what matters is what the other owners want to do, and how they feel about Ballmer.
In large part the rest of us are just noise; a fickle public given to any manner of woo-woo from moment to moment.
The NBA had much bigger problems getting my dollah b4 this happened, whatever "this" actually is.

  6. Dime, you are my guy, but OMG I think at this point you’re just doing it for clicks and views. Real clipper fans do not care. We are ready for the season. You typically give us great analysis, but it has an overshadowed by this nonsense and if you notice most of the people who add you on are a lot of Laker fans or fans of other teams. You’re kind of alienating you’re real audience but hey, I guess that’s how the media works now

  7. The only plausible rationale I can find for the no-show $28MM is that Aspiration wanted the Clippers to be successful if they are a major team sponsor. If I was a major sponsor for the Clippers, I would pay their star player a boatload of money to stay with the team, because as a sponsor, I want them to be successful. And if a Kawhi led Clippers won a championship, then that endorsement contract could look like a bargain, because you can market the hell out of it (Kawhi + Clippers), even if Kawhi never does a commercial. …. If the Clippers don't win a championship, and he leaves, and the Clippers become Sterling's Clippers, then your major sponsorship deal becomes a joke, because you would be associated with a mediocre team. … So my take is that if you are a sponsor, why wouldn't you ensure that the star players goes nowhere. …. Now, I am not saying shenanigans were not there, but I feel a business purpose still exists. Because at the time the agreement was made, we all believed a healthy Clippers team were at the cusp of winning a championship.

  8. The stock contract says Sanberg SUBSIDIZED the original contract meaning he's paying Kawhi that IF the company doesn't. It isn't in addition to the $28 million contract. He's just saying if the company doesn't pay him then he will via stock.

  9. That last part you read does not mean what you think, when it says SUCH compensation etc that means it must have been done to circumvent as stated in the first section you read. The contract being over fair market value alone is NOT punishable by itself , it must be in conjunction with the first section of intending to circumvent the salary cap. You're misunderstanding it, I'm a lawyer lol

  10. Starters today: Harden, Bogdanovic, Kawhi, Derrick Jones, Zubac

Bench: CP3, Dunn, Batum, Collins, Lopez

  11. Clippers may or may not be found guilty of anything. This podcast is about the Clippers talk about them. We won't know until the league says something. It should be a good season for the Clippers with all the good players they got for this season. Bradley Beal is on a prove that he can play contract. I think that he'll prove to be a great move for the Clippers.

  12. Honestly I think he already exposed them before the last episode. I also think NBA will do absolutely nothing about it.

  13. Corporate lawyer here. The put option is grubby as hell as it’s cash on demand for nothing. However, if Aspiration had a put option with Steve (i.e they have a right to require him to invest capital), that would actually be helpful to Steve and the Clips.

  14. What does any of this have to do with “NBA salary circumvention”
Ballmer can invest in whatever he wants to invest in, does not mean all of this money is being funneled to Leonard or any other player unless there is proof of it. This is all suspicion and assumption without proof. From what has been reported Leonard only received a few payments at the most. The stocks were a fraud bc the company never went public during this time, and Sandberg was indicted and is now in jail. So where are the stocks to be given away?
I know you want KL to be guilty of something, other than taking money from someone who wants him to engage in a sponsorship deal. The person who really should be in question is Ballmer, he is the one who brought these people into a relationship with the Clippers & Kawhi. You and Pablo are reaching and trying to convict Leonard.
    Good luck.

  15. Massive lifelong Lakers fan here… I believe Ballmer got Kawhi that deal to basically pay him for a fifth extra year (because he signed for 4 when he could have done 5) as an incentive to choose them over other teams, Lakers included. I could see his Uncle being like, "get us that fifth year or we're going to the Lakers". This whole crazy intriguing story has brought me to your channel over the last month. Just want to give my condolences to you guys as fans, and I really hope that you guys don't get grilled too hard and don't have all your future picks taken, etc… they should really go after Steve Ballmer, bar Kawhi's agent, ban Kawhi's Uncle from games and speaking to Leagie offices. Taking draft picks just hurts young college kids hoping to live their dream of being drafted. Hope you guys get through this okay as a fanbase. 🫶 love from the 💜💛. (My personal opinion is I think Ballmer is Shady and crooked af and was very integral in the starting of the company Aspiration itself as a shell company, he knew these scammers beforehand, which is why every time his name was brought up when Sandberg was interrogated he pleaded the fifth. Something really, really smells bad here.) Best case, he became aware of Kawhi not getting his endorsement money and felt bad and tried to do whatever he could to help his star player get his money, because he felt responsible for dragging Kawhi into a deal with scammers. The interesting part of the employees at Aspiration is that it was "presented to them as a completed deal"… what does that mean exactly… like Ballmer or Kawhi's agent delivered a contract to Apsiration already made up, or did Sandberg work the deal out with the agent and uncle and basically tell his finance team 'too bad, this is the deal, it's done'. Wild stuff man. Wouldn't be surprised if Ballmer was part of the money laundering, sending massive amounts of cash offshore.

  16. Bruce Arthur of the Toronto Star reported that Kawhi told the Raptors that they were the best basketball fit given that they had just won a title. Kawhi and Uncle Dennis then asked for 10m in off the court sponsorships per year that would require zero work on Kawhi's part as well as ownership in outside companies (they specifically asked for ownership of the Toronto Maple Leafs as he was unaware that the Raptors and Leafs are owned by the same group). The Raptors were unwilling to circumvent the cap in order to agree to these demands. Then and only then did Kawhi sign with the Clippers. It's obvious what happened here. Kawhi didn't want to go to the Clippers, he just wanted to go to the team that was most willing to pay him off the books and that happened to be the Clippers.
