  1. I'm curious to hear how it is working with Paolo. He seems like a student of the game. You mentioned his balance. What about his combination of skill, footwork, creativity and scoring ability at that size? The dude has such a massive frame and I think people often forget that he has the size of a center but moves like a guard.

  2. Question: I have watched 3 years of Paolo (as a magic fan) and he takes many fadeaways that end up being tougher shots then normal. Since its tough to hear you all the time, it sounds to me (around 18-20 min) that you are describing to him what we see. That his fadeaway was not that he was in a good position, but that his current fadeaway is his only recourse to putting up a less then optimal shot, with the fadeaway being used to keep the defender from being able to block it.

It sounds like you are describing for him to be more fluid so that the shot becomes part of the movement, and that the follow through gets full extension from the shoulder for better accuracy and touch. Does that make sense?

Additionally i was always taught that the fadeaway is in general a bad shot, as you introduce a moving variable into your shot creation and mechanics, so i wonder why we teach it? is that just the reality of basketball that its just an inevitable isolation scoring game, of which the fadeway is a big part of it.
