Okay, The NEW Raptors are SCARY
The Toronto Raptors might be the East’s most slept-on team. After moving Pascal Siakam and OG Anunoby, Toronto pivoted to Scottie Barnes… then swung big for Brandon Ingram—using Siakam pick capital to land a true late-game bucket getter. On paper, Ingram gives the Raptors exactly what they’ve lacked: half-court shot creation, mid-range scoring, and a secondary playmaker to ease pressure on Scottie and RJ Barrett.
But can BI’s slower, methodical style blend with Darko Rajaković’s quick-decision, ball-movement offense? If Ingram speeds up his reads—and Darko runs sets that get him to his spots—Toronto’s attack opens up for RJ, IQ, and Poeltl. Pair that with a defensive core of Scottie + Poeltl (and a roster that actually buys in), and you’ve got a team nobody wants to see in May.
In this video: how BI changes the half-court, why RJ’s playmaking leap matters, Scottie’s best role, Darko’s system tweaks, injury/contract risk, and why the defense is the real foundation.
If it clicks, the Raptors are a legit playoff problem. If it doesn’t… big questions ahead.

Great video, scottie is in the hot seat
Good video.
I disagree with you take on Scottie. Nobody ask him to do it all and take up most of the salary cap.
R. J 21 6 5 says just that.
RJ being traded was not the best thing for him because there are 28 other teams he could of went to.
If you list RJ errors surely you should mention everyone else's errors.
Scottie got Ujiri fired.
Don't forget that statistic.
Scottie has never been in a playoff game an achieve nothing in College.
IQ was the throw in in the trade and he has done nothing since he got here earning big contract. Ujiri had to go.
I think this negative narrative about RJ has to change. Theses are these ones that fight for this country. It's crazy to see just how much people hate this guy for nothing and blame him for everything.
RJ played with D leaguers yet his scoring wasn't allow to dip. That's weird.
How does Scottie play with d leaguers matter of fact how does Micheal Jordan play with d leaguers.
Alot of these stats are false just to fit the narrative already formed by clan
Bring back Ujiri… best basketball GM of Toronto could ever have!
Sandro will take over for Jakob this year
shooting 3s is why the NBA is boring and the Raptors can't win games.
Let's see them be healthy
