At least Boban had a positive reaction. Russ has his flaws but there is strong anti Russ bias. He is much better than what they give him credit for. Mike Malone loved Russ’ defense on Nuggets last season.

People don't know that point guards usually thrive when they come to Sacramento. Westbrook just has to bring the ball up and pass it and make layups. He will be huge off the bench 😂
Russ was a very big positive for the nuggets last season, on the whole. Yeah he had some stinkers and unfortunately some were in big games, but overall we nuggets fans were very happy with his over all contribution. And age doesn’t matter to Russ, he is still a physical beast. Good luck to Brody in Sac.
