    Box score for this one does go a little crazy, Wemby went for 22 points in just under 16 min of play, including 9/10 FT and 10 straight points near the end of the first half.

    Jones Garcia is way down because they know what he is, it’s preseason, they are giving the dudes they know nothing about some time to try to figure them out

    Wemby-Sochan-Bryant-Castle-Fox-Harper are the core the SFO need to keep together for years to come. If the Spurs wussy head coach is wise, he'll give minutes to Bryant and Jones-Garcia for development.

    Spurs need to trade Vassell and Keldon J and give those minutes to Harper-Bryant and Jones-Garcia. Spurs fans should thank Tommy Lloyd for Carter Bryant ending up on San Antonio (pray for us).

    Glad you give recognition to Jones Garcia. Most podcasters will mention him but quickly return to over-exaggerating drafted stars with large contracts. It's a part of marketing the team and the highly invested-in players, I guess. If Harper had finished the game like Jones Garcia, you would see podcasts oozing praise for the next ROTY.

    Only pre-season, blah blah blah…. Spurs look DEEP. Utah playing starters in the 4th and in OT but the Spurs end of the bench guys still get it done.

    Love Ztays content but that statement "Jones Garcias should be playing over all these other guards.." and "where is Jones Garcia why is he not in?" Highlights how the lack of context and not watching the full games can create an ignorant perception of the situation. DJG was out of position defensively pretty consistently in the early 4th and Mitch was upset over it. It's why he got sat.

    It's been DJG biggest flaw. His defensive positioning and IQ.

    I think the reason they're playing those other PGs over DJG is because he has a 2way contract already and the others are getting looks for the G-League Team. Might be wrong but that's what I'm thinking can be the only reason to keep him lower on the list.

    It seems to me that Wemby is learning how to get to the line more often. If that's translates into the regular season, the defenders are going to be in big trouble for sure.

    I truly believe wemby will be goat if he stays healthy. Nobody can play defense and offense like he does. 20 yrs of that level of play and it won't even be close.
