I'll be honest. I'm not seeing the elite interior defense this team supposedly has. On top of that, their perimeter defense is not good at all! And on top of that, the team really needs a playmaker. There's just no rhythm right now. One more game left to try some stuff.

I really do think that with Cooper Flagg moving to the PG, it's going to get PJ Washington playing at the 3 with AD at the 4 and D Live at the 5. This Mavericks team is so deep even without Kyrie (who clearly is one of the best players on the team). I mean look at your starting 5 for the upcoming season and you tell me if it's good enough to be a top 6 team in the Western Conference:

I've seen enough, Ryan Nembhard needs serious minutes. The guy can easily average 8+ assists a night. When we play big line ups (Cooper, PJ, AD, Lively) they need someone to set the table, which he does exceptionally.

Let's go Mavs! This starting lineup will take time to gel but it's huge for sure. Cooper looked solid. AD look really good. D Live and Ryan Nembhard were AMAZING. Kidd will have no choice but to find minutes for Nembhard. Dude is a straight BALLER.
At this point, it would be idiotic to let Nembhard go. He has to make the lineup. Could be another JJ Barea for us.
