Not worried about Marcus Smart. A preseason game is really not the best showcase of his abilities which are energy oriented. Personally, I think people are overreacting to preseason, a time to experiement and work things out. I think people do this because we are so anxious for the season to start that we magnify every little thing. (I am worried about the lack of athleticism on this roster, though)
Donno about y'all but Reaves seems to be playing selfish. He isnt even trying to set plays for his teammates. Ayton is going to struggle with Reaves until Bron comes back. Lebron is the only player who spends the whole first half mostly setting plays for his teammates to get them going before he ultimately takes over in the 4th.
Ayton has looked great in my opinion. He will give us a solid 15 & 10 this year
That’s the problem of the Lakers, they stay with players for a long time who don’t meet the needs of the team that’s why they can’t form a championship team, without a center last year, Tucker traes pas, now Reaves pairing with Luca Lakers from office is terrible

Honestly, after the 3 – the roster is not great. Guys can’t play D and aren’t athletic. Even our recent draft picks are one way players. Look at the rockets/ Knicks/thunder, etc. they have like 7 starting caliber players.

I am so tired of JJ Redick’s amateurish coaching style especially in the 3rd Quarter! This Lakers team is still predictable even in the preseason. Usually they start out fairly well but in the third quarter? They get outplayed! This has been happening since last year. No transitional defense, turnovers have been a common occurrence since JJ Redick has been Head Coach.
As long as JJ Redick is the Head Coach? This Lakers team is not winning any Championships.

Guys, let's be honest, this is going to be a repeat of last year, without LBJ 100%, the Lakers can't go anywhere, even with LuKa.
Look what happened when LBJ took over before he got injured last year around Feb, the team was top 3, then Lucas came in, we lost a couple of games and we never got to the top 3 spot again.
Say what you want, but LBJ gets things done. I'm not sure if we can find a good replacement. 🤦🤦🤦
Jake LaRavia is still out there looking clumsy…definitely an athleticism gap with Luka, Austin and Jake on the floor…pretty sure the Lakers are the most unathletic team in the league
