You’re my guy Troy but I 100% disagree with you about not needing another player for this roster. WE NEED A FLOOR GENERAL!!! This is a huge mistake if we don’t fill that need and Clarkson can’t do it. Maybe Deuce takes another leap but he hasn’t shown that capability. Kolek simply isn’t ready cause his defense. Not that Brogdon was making a significant impact, but he still can quarterback an offense. This is gonna be more of an issue than you think
They could have picked up Westbrick and this dude retires after he was signed.

Not surprised, Brogdon looked retired. You could always make a move at the deadline for a point or waiver wire. I disagree with attaching a pick to trade one of the youngsters. They have draft and stashes to attach

Leon Rose always has a backup plan for replacement backup PG. We will see a new backup PG before the last preseason game.

The Knicks will release all free agents and sign one to a non guaranteed contract to have flex during the season. Delon Wright might need to be added.

they need athletes of and brunson are to slow they 32nd in pace this preseason they will never win with a brunson it don't take genius to know that
Washington Wizards are ranked the second worst team, defensively, in the league, let's be realistic about Kolek and his potential to contribute. The final preseason game, Charlotte, is ranked 24th defensively. First two regular season games, Cleveland (ranked 8th defensively) and Boston (ranked 3rd defensively, though lost many players this offseason from last year's team) will be better tests on Kolek's ability to withstand real defensive pressure, which should be our primary concern about his ability to stay on the floor against the better teams in the league. I'm not going to be confident about Kolek playing major minutes until I see his performance against those teams. Don't get me wrong, he doesn't have to dominate them, he just needs to be able to run the offense and not turn the ball over while under real defensive pressure. When teams finalize their rosters, between the end of preseason Oct 17 and the roster deadline Oct 20— at 5 p.m. ET, we may need to go scavenging for any PGs cut from preseason rosters.
They will make a trade. If not before the season starts then after. They will have until Feb to make a trade. But I think they will make a trade sooner rather than later. They need a backup PG because Kolek ain’t it. I believe coach Brown wants Keon Ellis on the roster and a young pg not named Kolek.

A basketball season it's not like chewing tobacco in the outfield like baseball . The Knicks never really addressed a talented guard to play alongside Bronson !! I understand money restrictions . Let's go with Kolic !
