The Golden State Warriors Stormed Back Yet Again

Down 18 early to Portland, the Dubs stormed back behind Stephen Curry, Al Horford, Will Richard, Quintin Post, and Trayce Jackson-Davis. From crisp defensive rotations to unselfish ball movement, Golden State looked like a team blending old habits with new energy, and the results are starting to show. In this video, we break down how the Warriors’ depth, chemistry, and comeback mentality are turning preseason exhibitions into a statement about what’s coming this year. Are the Warriors quietly building something special again? Let’s talk about it.

  1. Correction: Kerr wasn't mixing things up to start the 2nd half, Kuminga was ejected and I didn't realize. Just giving a heads up

  2. Kerr needs to be real careful, so many injuries already in just the preseason, please rest these guys, we have enough play time to see what can happen over the entire season. Please save the uncs and develop everyone else.

  3. The first obvious difference in this game from the last was the fact the Warriors had more free throw attempts than the Blazers (I guess the Lakers just don't foul….) however, there was a lot of ragged play in the first half and way too many turnovers in the game overall. But, this may all be a blessing in disguise…..the Warriors are prone to turnovers when they are out of sync but they are showing a tendency to bear down and overcome large deficits…and this may prove important when the season begins….never really being out of it no matter the lead. Post is really showing an ability to deliver ( you figure out the pun) and as Dflow points out, having a big man who can be a consistent threat from the 3 point range was a key factor the last time the won it all. Will Richard is proving to be a pleasant surprise and even the Trailblazer announcers acknowledged how the Warriors are able to find contributing talent in these later round picks. With Butler, Draymond and Moses Moody out, this was another game giving opportunity to test the younger players and things look to be on schedule. Wow, this Portland team can field some big guys….who look like they can actually play…..going to be another competitive Western Conference field….as usual.

  4. even tho kuminga got ejected this game he's been playing really well so far and his passing and decision making improved i hope he can keep this up into the season

  5. These comeback wins simply mean that their 3rd stringers are better than the other tems' 3rd stringers..which wouldnt mean much unless they can package these young guys to trade for someone who can actually play meaningful rotation minutes.
