Christian Braun managed to make yet another game upgrade, stronger, confident, and amazingly precise. I think he didn't miss a shot in these two games. Aron Gordon upping his game too with more ball handling and range shots. And there will be still loads of dunks too. Jamal uncharacteristically good shape in the start of the season on the top of his game. Cam Johnson looking good and with a lot of space left to adjust to a new team with a loads of possibilities to thrive in Denver with his intelligence. Big Val will make a mess of every team that doesn't have a valid backup center. Peyton Watson is clearly getting even better this season, as well as Strawder. Both of them will have some burst games where they decide the outcome. Looking forward to Pwat's signature blocks. Tim Hardaway has yet to tune in his range shots and that will be a pure bonus for this team. Several new players with big potential: Pickett, who shows constant confidence, Curtis Jones who just might turn to be a range shooting gem.
And Jokić? Not much left to say about him. Still the mountain everyone stands on.
This was the most fun preseason game I've ever seen. Go Nuggs!

Clippers have a crazy team. Beal cp and Lopez on the bench? They could be ridiculous
The West once again is stacked, but this year the top teams have a lot more depth than last year. Nuggets and Clippers drastically improved their depth. I feel bad for the Rockets as Van Fleet was a huge blow, but I think they will be a solid regular season team. Nuggets are missing a solid ball handler after Jamal Murray and I worry that his minutes will be high as he might have to stagger a lot. The Clippers are scary on paper, but I just wonder how healthy the team will be throughout the entire season. They have talent, but that talent is old.
Christian Braun and Aaron Gordon look insane so far in the pre-season. Braun looks like he leveled up again (he already made a huge jump from year 2 to year 3 last year). AG looks like he added a whole new bag to his game starting at the end of last year and continued working on it this off season. Now he is healthy, he looks like a former lotto pick. This has to be the most complete Nuggets team I have ever seen. I hope it translates into the regular season and playoffs.
I'll admit, you nearly got me on the Christian Braun can't guard James Harden troll. Obviously James will dominate just about any matchup in front of him, but as you said Christian is the best matchup on James that the Nuggets have, and he had some solid games against him in the playoffs last year (and a couple bad ones).

Clips are old. Old teams don't win in the NBA. Full stop. Same With the Dubs. They were old-ish in 22 but they are ancient today. Neither team will make any noise this season. I bet the Spurs go farther than either of those squads.
The highlights don't show it but Bruce completely locked up John Collins on this one play, it was wild.
