NEW trade rumors for Walker Kessler and Lauri Markkanen
The latest Stein Line had new rumors about Lauri Markkanen and Walker Kessler. We’ll see if they’re just trade rumors or something more. It definitely appears that the Utah Jazz are loooking for some kind of move, we’ll see what that ends up being.

I really don't want to trade Walker or Lauri, I think we should at least SEE what the defense looks like when they have 4 players all 6'10 and taller…

Have you seen the footage and videos on the Jazz youtube channel? I have seen a fair few videos of Kessler and Will Hardy hanging out and are like full buddy buddy. So I highly doubt that he is actually grumpy with the team. He could very well get traded, it just doesnt seem like there is bad blood at all.
Spurs game showed that you are gonna need, at minimum, a 7’2 guy to play Wemby. Wemby might just get him paid.
Preseason games means nothing. Anybody can shine. FIBA Eurochamps were real games.
It makes no sense to extend Kessler or for Kessler to extend because jazz can wait and match whatever is offered. It’s up to Kessler to stay healthy and earn his market value. Likely 30mm a year but maybe Jazz get him for 20 to 25mm

Yes, I think that the trade of Lauri and Walker is not doing them much good. But if they decided to do a trade Lauri do they get the number one pick like Dallas?
I think the jazz will keep Laurie unless it gets in the way of getting a top draft pick. Bailey plus a top pick next draft is the future.
Kessler as a rolling big is valuable with Ace Bailey. Ace utilizes the mid range which eliminates the crowding and Kessler sets some of the best screens in the league.
George, Bailey, Lauri, Taylor and Kessler. It has space and shot creation, length and defense. if the ball movement works then it’s a solid winning starting lineup.
Brice and flip off the bench is solid.
I also think Kessler knows the amount of money and draft picks being spent on centers the last couple of years there won’t be a large market during his restricted free agency.
